Hello everyone!
Welcome to my *awkward first post*. Here, I will be promoting my new Etsy Store, CreativiTea Custom Tags. I never know how to introduce things...so maybe I should just get to the point by answering some questions? Q: Custom tea tags? Would anybody even want those?? A: Well, I don't know...maybe? I started making these tags for me because...tea tags are boring. I think that a lot of companies put a lot of energy into getting their tea blends just right and making sure the packaging is visually pleasing, that they tend to skip over the design of the tag because hey, it’s only gonna get discarded after 2-4 minutes, right? And maybe I'm the only one who thinks this, but I thought it would be nice if the tags were just as visually appealing as the box the teabags come in. The illustrator in me was suddenly inspired, so I designed my own tags (my corgi design, because I love corgis) to replace the boring ones on my favorite tea. Honestly, the simple act of replacing those boring tags with something that I wanted to look at, brightened up tea time. I’m positive other people will feel the same once they get their hands on their own custom tea tags. Q: What designs are you selling? A: Fandom stuff, mostly. I'm a geek. I love owning fandom stuff. Seriously, the number of fandom tshirts I have is alarming. And do I really need to have 5 different replicas of the sonic screwdriver and my own deerstalker hat? Yes. Yes I do. .......... ANYWAY, the great thing about Tumblr is that almost everyone on here is a geek as well, so they might appreciate the designs I have to offer. Q: What if I'm not a geek? Is there something in your store for me? A: You're the first non-geek I've met, but yes, there are some designs for the geek-challenged. Er...there will be, anyway. I'm still in the process of putting things together, so give me a couple of weeks to get things sorted. Q: Why are you saying "CUSTOM" tea tags? Do you even know what that word means?! A: Wow, rudeness. I was gonna get to that! Basically, if there's something you want on a tag that I don't have in my shop, you can request it and I shall make it for you. Keep in mind that all tags are going to be 1.5"x1.5", so details will be minimal. Having words on the tag is allowed, but again, keep the size in mind when telling me your idea. Q: Are you just selling the tags, or do we get tea with that? A: You do get tea with the tags. Q: Do you make your own tea? A: I made the blends on adagio.com, but I did not make the tea myself, no. (Adagio rocks, by the way. You all should buy stuff from them.) Q: Are you gonna post some of your stuff on here? A: Yep! Pictures will be posted. I'll also be updating this page when I get new designs in the store, and occasionally I'll be doing some promos. Q: Is your etsy open now? A: Yeah! I just opened it a few minutes ago! Go give it a look: http://www.etsy.com/shop/CreativiTeaTags?ref=pr_shop_more
