You were on a different account??
yup! @second-beat-songs is where I was hanging out while this account was terminated for a bit over two weeks.
I was killing time over there, just...shouting at nothing, pretty much, and getting anxious about being banned.
I'm glad to be back home ♥
Hi Frank! I got new glasses today! They are purple and octagonal and change shades in the sun. Almost as cool as your sunglasses.
That's awesome! I bet they're cool in the sun.
I have a question about munchkin cats. Recent research, done on many older munchkin cats, has shown the race is healthy. Especially as they are often crossbred with non-munchkins. Older research, and older theories declare the opposite; there it is assumed that the build of a munchkin cat is similar to that of a dachshund, and has the same bad health traits as dachshunds do. Do you ever see munchkin cats in your practice, and if so, did you ever find any race-related health issues?
gettingvetted here.
The munchkin breed is not very old, and like most breeds of cats, they are not especially populous or easy to obtain for studies. Thus, there is not really much research on the longevity and typical conditions of the breed (we were unable to find the “recent research done on many older munchkin cats” you were speaking of). There is no specific research stating that they are healthy or unhealthy. There is 1 case report of a munchkin cat that ate a rope, but this is not breed-specific. There are about a dozen reports on the breed that essentially conclude “It’s controversial, and not enough research has been done to decide either way whether the breed is ethical.”
I have never seen a munchkin cat in my practice nor do I know of any patients in the clinic that are munchkins.
Finally, a munchkin is a breed of cat. It is not a race. Animals do not have races.

Doesn’t the city check those kinda things and tows?
They do. I mean my brother got a ticket when he just parked in the yard (not in the bike-stand tho) for just 10min to help me lift something heavy. But I'm betting that has more to do with neighbours calling it in than a traffic warden just happening to stumble upon his car in a private yard in an area with very little parking. I've literally never seen one here.
I'm not calling it in tho. They're not allowed to park there but they're not in the way. I just think it's funny that they park in the bike-stands haha
Hi! Does anyone know of proper headphones that block noise from talking people? It's needed for in an office setting, where we are seated with 24 people on quite a small space, and I can't work due to the talking people...
I’m interested in this too but am unable to find a pair I trust. Can anyone recommend some?
Hey! I am on mobile and cannot see the guidelines for submitting because of it, I am only linked to an empty page. Is there anywhere else I can find them, possibly you posted them before with a specific tag?
