🧭Truman Burbank Agere Moodboard and Headcanons Pt. 1📺

🧭-When he first started regressing, he cried a lot. Sometimes if he got really overwhelmed or upset, especially after nightmares, he’d feel this dropping feeling in his chest and his head would feel fuzzy. This happened a few times during the show, resulting in him being infantilised a lot, even when he wasn't small. It was strange and confusing, but whenever he had the fuzziness, it felt somewhat comforting.

📺-After escaping Seahaven, the fuzziness in his head got a lot worse and happened more frequently. It was scary, and even though both him and Sylvia had no clue what was going on, she always managed to help him feel better.

🧭-Truman was told that he was age regressing after he started seeing a therapist, he was relieved that he finally had a name for what was happening to him

📺-He explained it to Sylvia and she was very understanding. They had a big talk about what this meant for Truman and what he was comfortable with.

🧭-He doesn't really know what his age is, all he knows is that he never goes above 10, around the time his father died. Something in him can't bear to regress to the ages after losing his dad.

📺-It was very hard for him to let himself fully regress at the start for a few reasons. He'd always worry that there were still cameras all around him, and the thought of people watching him in this headspace scared him (and the thought of people watching him in general, this was an issue for Truman no matter what headspace he was in). It was also very scary because he didn't want Sylvia to get annoyed about it, he thought he was being too much already, and the regression seemed like it was too much. but Sylvia was incredibly accepting and accomodating.

🧭-Sylvia is his caregiver and he calls her “mama” (her heart melts every time he says it). And if him and Marlon/Louis ever reconciled, he'd be a babysitter/uncle type of caregiver for Truman (someone Truman will accidentally call him 'Marlon', but Louis doesn't have the heart to correct him).

📺-He's extremely dependent and always needs someone to watch over him or look after him because he spirals very quickly and very easily. This happens when he's big, but it's a lot worse and harder to deal with when he's small.

🧭-He left everything from Seahaven behind except his plushies, he felt bad about leaving them behind (both little and big Truman, he's a very sentimental person).

📺-Loves to explore and go on adventures. Sylvia will “bury some treasure” somewhere in the house for Truman to discover while he’s on his adventure.

🧭-Sylvia ended up crocheting a red blanket in the same yarn as her sweater, which became Truman's comfort item. He likes being wrapped up in it while cuddling up to Sylvia.

📺-Extremely clingy and very physical. Loves to hold peoples hands and hold onto the edges of their clothes. Literally refuses to let go of Sylvia unless he absolutely has to, and when he does, he'll cry the whole time until he can be in her arms again.

🧭-He does go non-verbal sometimes and uses gestures to communicate (sometimes they're not the most coherent but he tries his best).

📺-He's also a lamb regressor. He loves wearing his white wooly jumper that Sylvia made, it makes him feel like a fluffy sheep and it's very comforting for him.
