who needs a plan? (sylvia & jax)

It had been some time since Sylvia and Jax had dug up the incriminating hard drive. Not quite enough time for Jax to have thoroughly investigated the other members of Interpol in search of a trustworthy and capable ally, but just enough time for him to discover one of his old partner’s allies.
That was at least one other confirmed crooked cop in the organization -- who knew how many more there actually were. Regardless, Jax saw an opportunity here that he decided to investigate further.
That was what brought him to the seedier part of the city on that particular night. The bar he was looking for was one he hadn’t been to before, so he had decided to scope out the street before entering, mapping out the area a bit in his mind.
As he turned the corner to head toward the bar again, he saw a familiar flash of orange hair across the street. It was reminiscent of the first night that they met, and Jax couldn’t help but lament the timing. He pulled the bill of his baseball cap down a bit before jogging over to her.
“Sylvia, what are you doing here?” He gently took hold of her arm and pulled her alongside him as he walked, falling into a casual pace. He lowered his voice slightly. “You need to leave now. We’re not exactly in a friendly part of town.”
He paused to look around; so far they hadn’t managed to attract any attention. While he didn’t want to simply leave -- who knew when his next opportunity would present itself -- he was also very reluctant to leave Sylvia on her own. “Do you have a safe way to get home?”
