Meet our 2021 festival artists Sylvia Crawford Sylvia is a natural-born teacher, pretty much guaranteed to inspire harpists at any playing level. Her recent MA looked at the 18th-century Armagh harper, Patrick Quin, from whom the harpers’ three ‘First Tunes’ were collected. She will be teaching these this year in the light of her research into old Irish-harp fingering and playing techniques.
