A beautifully, hot day in Twilight Town, and all the locals were heading to the beach. Roxas loved the beach, but he was in the middle of what he thought would be a masterpiece, frantically typing away as his friends tried to persuade him to come along.
"Roxas, c'mon, this is gonna be our last summer together, we're all going to college after this holiday. Don't you wanna spend time with us?"
The brunette female approached the writer carefully, cautiously, knowing just how 'into his work' he could get. Though, when she put it like that, she did have a point. He'd have a lot of free time to himself after summer, so he really should be spending all his possible free time with those three close friends of his. The realization of them not being around to bug him dawned on him, he didn't like it. In his mind he always complained, but in reality he'd miss it an awful lot.
shrugging and sighing the blond slid on some flip flops, grabbed a towel from his cupboard, his friends looking suddenly excited at the fact he was joining them. Giving his room a once over look he picked up his rucksack, throwing his cigarettes and a lighter in there, slung it over one shoulder and picked up his surf board, he figured he may as well get some use out of it that summer.
Warm, soft sand seeped between the writers toes, a soft smile to his face as he looked onto the horizon, it truly was beautiful. His trance like state was soon turned off as the other blond friend, Hayner, ran past Roxas shouting, claiming he'd beat him to the water. Roxas just shook his head and laughed, running after him. The sand getting progressively wetter as he ran further, soon being hit by the cold water at the start of the sea. Giving a quick 'eep' at the coldness, he continued onward, chasing after his friend and soon finding himself lying on his surf board, pulling himself out further.
Catching up with hayner, the two stood up on their boards. "Now this is what I'm talkin' about-" The waves were huge, great for surfing, the blond smiling, laughing with the other as they surfed the waves, showing off. Hayner fell of his board, Roxas laughed at the sour expression he was given. "You're just not as good as me mate-" he spoke to soon as he got caught off guard by one those waves he'd just missed. Flying backwards off his board, being hurtled into the sea, the blond soon found himself under the deep depths of the water. The board hitting something on his way down, he assumed that was a heavy wave. The blond could swim, but he always instantly panicked when something went wrong. Struggling to pull himself up, he saw his board floating above him, quickly swimming up to reach it before the next wave. Gasping for breath the writer flung his arms over the board, coughing.
