I really love Eren: time and again we’ve been shown that despite being impulsive, impassioned and even obsessive, Eren is neither stupid nor oblivious, and is actually both situationally and self aware - which makes his savagery a tad more terrifying imo

Eren is so great. I remember thinking during this scene initially that he was totally self-righteous, but it became pretty obvious that he’s the kind of hero all the soldiers should strive to be. Maybe cliche, but I love his heroism so much.

As do I. And I love how it has elements of savagery in it, because there's something off in this boy - he can go too far in the name of doing good and I think a big part of the manga will be him learning to draw the line; learning when to toggle the "off" switch of his killer instinct
