Hiya! What kind of alternative endings/choices you would have liked to add in the Batman telltale (s1 & s2) games? Also your thoughts on these versions of the characters design wise?

ooh, i like this! honestly the ending we got in s2 is so much more than everything i could have wished for, like i literally would not change anything at all -- john remaining our friend for real happening only if the player actually sticks by him the whole time? THATS EVERYTHING I WANTED!!! LOYALTY & FRIENDSHIP BABEY! as for s1, ideally lady vicki arkham wouldn’t have died but you know what? it’s all perfect either way, something very symbolic about her remaining a part of arkham

THE DESIGNS THOUGH ARE CONSISTENTLY OFF THE CHARTS AMAZING telltale bruce is honestly my default bruce, like.........i’ve never considered any other bruce handsome till i saw him? like NOW i understand everything about brucie wayne. very very good

john is perfectly huggable and earnest and even his design establishes him as distinctly Not A Joker (joker, at his best, is skeletal and absurdly tall and unnerving enough to seem outright supernatural) so A+ telltale for actually keeping the familiar elements (bleached skin, green hair) but still making him immediately recognisable as john doe rather than the joker. vigilante design is hilariously bad and really does look like it was made by john himself so i’m entirely into it and villain is entirely horrible & tacky sorry guys

everyone else has pretty standard/good designs so i won’t single them out BUT i will say making harvey the most jacked dude in the world? bruce looking SHORT next to him? hell yeah

Sure! I’ve had multiple partners, so I’m glad to help!

The partners always mean the same thing when they say their lines, but each partner’s dialogue is slightly different from another’s.

For example:

See the differences? A Vulpix partner would say one thing, and a Treecko would say another, but they mean the same thing.

In my opinion, this is one of those little things that game developers add in, but I love it because it shows just how much love and attention to detail went into this game.

gender is uh not-girl but not anything else really (also not fine with anything but she/her pronouns coincidentally) and a few months ago i would have said bi but i’m pretty sure i’m a lesbian

6. How long did your questioning process take (if you’re not still going through it)?

well i knew i was bi when i was like, 13 and it didnt take too long at all because it seemed pretty OBVIOUS but now im going through a second questioning process thats taking over 100 years because of the whole. am i a lesbian thing

ok so first of all i love you for writting this like we nEED more content about Joan Leland, is she going to be pretty much John's mom? Also of course she'll be supportive right? How did John realize it btw? Did he talked about it to other inmates, did TV actually mentionned it? Or did other LGBT+ inmates complain about said TV? Did one inmate mentionned it during a group session and John was all "boys can like other boys??" or did you mean also he realize he's trans? Does it happens before s1?

HEY im so glad someone’s interested, thanks for the mssg! leland is definitely gonna be supportive and i’m actually currently writing the scene where they talk things through, the fic is sorta meant as a sequel to my initial post-ep fic and the kiss with bruce is basically gonna be a sort of wake-up call for john -- i really honestly don’t think he would have realised he’s gay before season 2 and i also feel like there’d a moment where he wouldn’t know how to distinguish This from the general mental stuff in the sense that it’s yet another thing that immediately labels him as Other

hm, i can’t recall anything. i don’t really get harsh criticism on my writing? since i write for rare fandoms mostly, i think that people don’t send harsh criticism on fic they don’t like nowadays -- they just close the tab

4. What is your favourite genre to write for?

my favorite genre is character-driven stories. exploring characters is the most interesting part of writing to me.

8. Where do you take your inspiration from?

i take my inspiration from other fics (especially the ones where the narrator has a strong personality, god i love these) and from my friends. my friends have the most amazing and wild ideas and i love taking inspiration from them to write my stuff. 

i think i tend to be pretty bland, i think, so it helps a lot to have friends who can brainstorm the plots with me or straight up give me plots.

24. How do you feel about writing smutty scenes?

uh. well, i haven’t written a smut scene since i was. like. 15. and i’m pretty sure it wasn’t very good. i want to learn how to write them but since i already struggle with 3 sentences-long kisses that’s gonna require work skdhfb. but i do have a pwp thing planned that i should just work a little on instead of starting crack-ish aus.

25. Have you ever cried whilst writing a story?

yes. when i wrote booster and the terrible horrible no good very bad day, i cried during the angst at the beginning (but then i fixed it so that was better)

33. What’s the biggest compliment you’ve gotten?

it’s a comment on tell me when it’s time, my huge wip where the focus is on guy and him being trans and all. it was an anonymous comment that said how much the fic was helping them regarding their trans-ness, and i was really moved by this comment. 

truth be told, i am writing this fic because this is the kind of story i would have needed when i was younger, and seeing that the fic does exactly that for younger trans people is so fulfilling and humbling. i am so glad and honored to be able to be that person, it gives me purpose, and i never thought my writing would get to that point.

6 tell me when it's time, 2 brighter than the sun

6. Which scenes did you cut, and which were added in tell me when it’s time?

hm. it is a very planned out fic, so there hasn’t been that many major changes to it. 

i was originally gonna have way more scenes in chapter 2 of guy in college (i even made his college friends entire backstories and personalities and shit). they were going to interact with guy more and we were going to see guy evolve and figure himself out a lot more than we did. but i figured it would be better to see this with his canon friends so that’s what’s gonna happen. 

i was planning to skip over guy’s reunion with his family and start chapter 3 with his meeting with hal, but for the whole major force story arc to happen, i need to have it written out, so that’s gonna be a thing. a scene i didn’t plan to write was the bit where he was mad at freud.

2. Which scene was your favorite to write in brighter than the sun?

oooh. my favorite was the first one i wrote for this fic, and that would be bit with guy and booster, because i love them both so fucking much you know. i really like the love and bickering they had going on.
