People you should follow in 2014
Michelle: She's amazingly sweet and will always go out of her way to make you feel a little bit better about yourself. She's wicked smart but never makes you feel inferior; she is always genuinely helpful and excited to encourage learning. She's got great taste in literature and a massive crush on Oscar Wilde, which is totally understandable. AND SHE MET THE DALI LLAMA AND SHE'S VEGAN AND SHE'S JUST AWESOME!
Chloe: One of the coolest people I know, Chloe has slammin' taste in music. She's an outspoken feminist. She's an ardent coffee lover (with a super cute coffee cup tattoo). She also happens to be one of my best friends in the entire world because of her uncanny knack to see the best in people, even when they can't see it themselves. She's funny and kind and loving and a total hbic. She's one of the strongest people I've ever met; she's gone through a bunch of crap in her life but she faces every new thing with a smile.
Briana: Briana was one of my first tumblr friends. She's been with me through thick and thin. She's funny and sweet and kind and the cutest damn person I have ever met. She makes cool art and (for a while at least) was looking into becoming an art teacher, which gives you an idea of how totally rad she is. She has fought through a ton of negativity but still believes in the power of art and innocence and cuteness and cuddles. She and I live in the same state-- relatively close to each other, too-- but we've never hung out in person which is a ~travesty~
Dayngel: She is perhaps the most quietly talented person I have ever met. She's a fantastic artist and just an all-around cool person. She's a total sweetheart, too. Dayngel makes me smile because she is unassuming and shy but also supremely kind and absolutely hilarious. When she talks, you'd better listen because she's hella smart and always makes a great point. I'm lucky enough to interact with her outside of tumblr; I go to school with her so I bake her cupcakes when she's stressed and she gets to watch me cry in physics because numbers suck. (In that same vein, she saw me cry in math sophomore year, too. That was ~~soooo fun~~)
Dylan: Another person who I know outside of the internet! Dylan is majorly sweet. He's been among my best friends for a long time. We still get coffee together all the time because he's funny and a good listener and a great guy. I've unloaded a whole bunch of personal drama on him, and he has never been anything other than 104% supportive. He chimes in and bitches with me when it will help and listens quietly when that's a better course of action. I love Dylan so much, you guys. It's honestly not even funny.
