Book 17 of 25 in 2011
Thanks to the judicial system, I am a good 60+ pages into the Sync Read. And it looks like we have a 100% book-in-hand rate for the Sync, yea!
Still not finished with Sex At Dawn, but I only had about 20 pages left and didn't want to carry a dead-ender into a day of waiting. It is fascinating and the list of people I want to read it grows and grows.

Go Set Run, Zoe Stagg meet Amamur. Amamur (sticking with your tumblr handle unless told otherwise) meet fellow tumblrmates Zoe and Go.
Things to know about Amamur: She's a native Portlander (rare, I know), old college schoolmate and general badass. Her love for Tupac, Brazil and sunshine may go unrivaled. Anyhoot. I invited her to jump into the Sync Read and she's game. Warning, Amamur has a few flights this weekend. Looks like she might be the first to dive into Super Sad True Love Story.
Let's do it. I'm giving myself a week to get a copy of it in hand. That means just a few more days to tear apart Sex At Dawn (Book 16 of 25 in 2011 - I am eating it up) before moving onto what should become Book 17. Whee!

Not to sway the Synch Reading selection one way or another, but I did bring these home from Powell's today. Lush Life was on sale for $7.98 and Sex at Dawn was 30% off, can you believe it? To think I went into the bookshop saying, "just one book this time." Crazy me. It's never just one.
Oh, and I'm rapidly working my way through Sex at Dawn. Fear it'll only reaffirm my beliefs that humans = primates = not hard wired for monogamy = typical definitions of marriage are deeply flawed = oh, dear, my poor husband.
