synchongenic: a subsystem that formed due to two or more system members partially fusing with each other.
personally, this is how a subsystem of ours (the gemini cluster / the mercb subsystem) formed, because i(? idk, could’ve been the former host mercury, i don’t even know if xe’s a different person or not) fused with a protector of ours, cb, but instead of actually fully fusing with him, what happened was we basically no-clipped through each other, which ended with us having one body in headspace but two separate ‘minds’ controlling it.
