Bruce looked down at the patio table he was sitting on and sighed, his back twinging in aggravation over no support. He knew that he kept things from his children, parts of him he hated, parts of him he was ashamed of to this day. He was a broken man, but he never wanted his children to see that. He only had wanted his children to see him as a mentor, a man who wanted and did save people. Was he perfect about this illusion? No, and that was when he hurt them the most. When the illusion dropped for a moment and the broken man came out. Sometimes that’s for the best. He wanted to Tell Addy Especially when the fathers not proud of his past mistakes.

he’s surprised that she still wants to be around him. after he nearly ( or maybe he did ) drove her to tears. it was something he relished in. it was odd. none of his siblings were like him. none of his parents were. it was a cause of concern to wonder where andy got it from. but nevertheless, that wasn’t the pressing issue. 

andy doesn’t remember when and how he wound up dating the mutant. the x-men and avengers had some relations. he probably met her through there. whatever. it wasn’t important. but when she says that, it hurts him. not because she’s saying it, but because he does. he loves his family ( he rather be dead than say it to their faces ) and he feels something for adella. even if their relationship is a huge question mark. 

“not when you’re involved.” he’s confident and arrogant. why did they break up? he doesn’t know. probably cheated on her. or something. to be honest, he didn’t even remember they were dating. and he thought their relationship was open. apparently not when she threw a hairdryer at him when she waved a picture of his tongue down someone else’s throat. “don’t think i ever felt anything for you julie.”
