Sweet Solace (cont.)

The night chills and coos with the breath of summer desert air, and cars move through the night with motors softly buzzing under the street lamps of the little city of Desert Bluffs. It feels so peaceful compared to the White Void where Savio’s remains lay, their true form, a brightly lit silhouette in the shape of a person standing before the door to the place Danny and Kevin reside.
It was such a nice place, a good amount of land; such a perfect little home to raise their new hatchling, Savio admitted to internally, but concerned themself with rapping a cute tune on the door with perfect precision.
You are my sunshine. My only Sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You’ll never know dear how much I love you; please don’t take my sunshine away.
