on the topic of hozier and tamino. as far as my synesthesia is concerned, their fundamental vibes are somewhat similar or adjacent, but the aesthetics that cover them/the way they go about PRESENTING those vibes is different. hozier is all green and brown and reddish-brown and gold and orange, lots of very autumny colors, and tamino had some similar colors—earthy browns and greens and golds and whatnot—but he also has a lot of dreamy purples and deep roses/magentas, like a night sky-- or, should i say, an indigo night.

synesthesia problem: i make a moodboard with a very certain aesthetic. i dont know what to name it. i go to songs i like for a possible name. i choose a song that has the same colors/aesthetics as the moodboard. but the song is too good and deserves its OWN moodboard, made to match how IT looks specifically, not just one that is vaguely the same color.

vrvr colors (so far, based mostly on first impressions rather than their personalities, since im not too familiar with them like that):

gyehyeon: red/orange, but like a softer red-orange, with some gold and plain old red mixed in—also a lot of orange. he's both sunsetty and metallic i think

dongheon: a deep, but not super saturated, indigo (occasionally interchangeable with shades of regular dark blue, purple, or even turquoise)

yeonho: very nice, calming shade of brown-- like somewhere between gold and ash brown/taupe. sometimes has lighter and/or warmer speckles (esp. when he smiles). some freckles of orange, pink, and yellow; just generally kind of sparkly.

kangmin: rose-gold? ish? but less metallic and more solid-- like a soft rosy brown

hoyoung: his NAME is very distinctly yellow but he himself is more green (but still a yellow-y green) also there's a bit of blue? like a deep royal blue in spots, it contradicts the rest of him but its definitely there.

yongseung: honestly just red as far as i can tell; like a deep, rich wine-y red. he's the most straight-forward member color-wise (altho his facial features/face shape and name are gold so idk what made HIM red to me)

minchan: also red, but more uneven and intersected with brown and lighter, duller shades of red (also his 'red' is more pink- sort of raspberry-ish). his voice, specifically, is brown—dark coffee brown when he sings lower and gold when he sings higher.

see my simping/whipped hours are always interesting because even if it just STARTS with, say, heeseung edits, it inevitably switches over to sunoo and then sunghoon and perhaps a little bit of jake too, because in reality the certain emotion i feel when im IN this mood is a very specific shade of purple, and i like feeling purple and want to keep feeling purple for as long as possible, so i draw it out by making myself even more whipped. fun times

complimenting people when you have synesthesia is weird because yes technically you do fit the definition of beautiful but on the other hand beautiful is is round and sweeping and rich and you are NOT round you are very very sharp, and pretty is sharp but you are not pink enough to be pretty in this situation .
