this might be a bad hot take but... i don't think it was a good call giving Jotaro/Star Platinum the time stop ability. i think it was a bit lazy. imo, Joseph should've taught Jotaro to use hamon. not only is it more consistent with the Joestar legacy but it makes more sense than "ooo he has the same ability as the enemy!!" Joseph honed his hamon skills in literally a month, and had years to continue his training with his mom. also, Jotaro is his grandson so presumably he has the same hamon potential. they had 50 days for christ's sake... he could've learned at least a little bit of hamon. how to channel it through Star even. i think that would've been more useful than time stop anyway.

idk, this is just one of those missed opportunities that irritates me right before im going to sleep

grandparents always hate on my hair (my bangs are very long and hide my eyes, and my hair is dyed) so i bought a long bangless wig in my natural color to wear to terrorize my grandparents with crossdressing instead

i feel like the Bloom and Gloom ep was a huge missed opportunity. the way Apple Bloom's nightmare self was talking about "cutie marks and problems being peas in the same pod" sounds like it could've forshadowed Starlight Glimmer stalking the Mane 6. it would've been really cool to see a long term villain messing around behind the scenes (like in season 9). Starlight could've planted the anti cutie marks seed in the CMCs like this. it would've been really cool if her propaganda spread like that until the Mane 6 noticed and recognized her return. then again, that would be pretty fucked up i guess, she'd be less redeemable for abusing the crusaders

maybe Apple Bloom was having this anti-cutie mark nightmare bc of subconscious ideas from hearing AJ tell her the story. i'll hc that, that AJ, Dash, and Rarity told their sisters about Starlight's village and that influenced their fears by accident.
