1:What is your favourite 'ber' month? (Sept-Oct-Nov-Dec)It’s a tie between October and November.

3:What did you dress as for Halloween last year?I was Bono from U2, haha

6:Do you have any Halloween traditions?Well, most of the time we go trick-or-treating. I always celebrated my birthday a little bit on Halloween too (It’s on the 1st of November).

7:What music do you like to listen to during fall?Usually the same type of music as the rest of the year, but I do a lot of listening to the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack. And Blue October. Because I like their music and their name.

8:What is your favourite fall outfit?Jeans and hoodies/sweaters! Layers! BEANIES

31:Gloves or mittens?GLOVES. Gloves 100%. You know what happens if you don’t wear gloves (or mittens)? Frostbite. But that’s another story for another ask. 

32:Do you enjoy ice skating?I think I would enjoy ice skating if I could in fact ice skate. Although I’ve never tried. But I like most things, so let’s go with yes.

Grocery Store in Garfield

Many years ago Father Leo Henry brought Aggie to the site of Giant Eagle and asked her if she saw something concerning about the building. She looked long and hard at the building, but could not find what was wrong with it until Father Henry told her that it could use a coat of paint! From that experience she realized that people seem to accept the decay and decline of their neighborhood as a natural course of life instead of organizing for better conditions.

Unfortunately when Aggie returned to Garfield she was faced with the grim reality that her neighborhood did not have a Giant Eagle. Garfield was a food desert– residents cannot readily access fresh, healthy, and affordable food within a mile of where they live. On June 4, residents celebrated when a Bottom Dollar opened on Penn Avenue after many hard years of organizing. The celebrations were short lived as the store closed shortly after it opened. Fortunately, Bottom Dollar left a few resources inside of where it’s store once stood. Aggie organized the community to fight for the resources in the store and for another store to open in the neighborhood. Community members were willing to go to jail for civil disobedience in order to bring a grocery store to her neighborhood. The community championed this ALDI’s store and their perseverance paid off - it will be open later this year.

Tsau! Tulin kattoon sun luennon Desussa tänään ja ah musta oli ihanaa kuunnella sarjakohtasta kritiikkiä ilman mitää biaseja! Meinaan ainaki tääl tumblassa suurin osa mielipidejutuista on aika puolueellisia hahmokohtasesti. (1/3)

Oisin halunnu tulla jutteleen sun kanssa luennon jälkeen mut kun siinä oli sitä porukkaa niin hirveesti ja lisäks mua nolotti kun olin nähtävästi ainoo joka ei cossannu ketään (ei tarpeeks taitoo). (´・ω・｀) Mut joo, koko luento oli spot on! Sit lisäks sun huumorintaju oli ihan parasta. Katoin sun viime vuoden Desun luennon ja nauroin sitäki katellessa. Tulin just vaihdosta Japanin Tottorista ja nyt sitä taas opin taas rakastamaan tätä suomen kieltä kun voi puhuu “perseilystä” jne.

MUT NII eniten lämmittää se että jos toi kokonaisuus näyttäyty puolueettomana, ku jälkikäteen kiroilin kaikkea mitä unohdin sanoa tasapainottaakseni osaa siitä negistelystä (joka on, kuten sanottua, ennen kaikkea kässärin epätasapainosuuden vika sen sijaan että kukaan hahmo ois yksioikoisesti vaan paska jätkä tjsp). kaikilla meillä on omat lempparit ja vähemmän lempparit, mutta ketjureaktio kuvaa hyvin sitä että on vaikea osotella sormia yhteen suuntaan osottamatta niitä sit vähän muualleki.

eniten mua kyl naurattaa se et tbh oon paskin mahdollinen luennoitsija kun avaudun asioista vaan silleen ku puhuisin normaalisti kavereille, ni sit mun läpät on niin laaduttomia ettei tosikaan… mut jos joku niistä saa jotain irti niin sit se ehkä tasapainottaa niitä rakenteellisia derppailuja (tsiisus ku vihdoin tajuaisin olla tekemättä kahta luentoa coniin niin voisin keskittyä yhteen esim. kunnolla…), eli kiitos paljon viestistä, arvostan tosi paljon! oon tosi laiska käymään coneissa nykyään (lue: vaan Frostissa) mikä sit heijastuu luennonpitämiseen, mut jos ihmisiä oikeesti kinostaa kuunnella mun huuruiluja niin ehkä se sit motivois muualleki. Tai sit ei koska oon laiska. Mut ehkä.
