too many singlets want every day to be miserable for systems when in fact most of my life these days is just “ahh i’m in a safeway now.”

syscord did serious damage to my perceival of things, discussions, and people's lives/identities. it forced me into condenscendingly correcting and brutally "educating" people who weren't aware of every little thing. it made me a much more abrasive and cold individual on the basis that i should always be correcting everyone on everything at all times and enforcing the same one-size-fits-all mold of "morality" onto them. it made me angry, aggressive, frustrated, isolated, scared, and it was absolutely not worth it.

with this post, i hope to help other people realize how a lot of syscord spaces manage to radicalize people into being aggressive, extremely demeaning and bitter people, by default. this doesn't apply to every system-based discord server, but the big ones where you get dogpiled and then shittalked for anything wrong you do — instead of, you know, being properly talked to like you're a person

it is a terrible place to be in for anyone, let alone people struggling with their mental health. do not force yourselves to stay in syscords for templates or decor, its genuinely not worth it. extremely harsh environment; namely the syscords where its filled with exclusionist 15 year olds who constantly pick at everything and anything to make you problematic. do not stay in these spaces, its not worth it. i promise you there are many resource servers where you won't feel like you're in a killing game with five hundred people at your neck

Do you know a collective term for ‘‘protectors’’ and ‘‘caretakers’’? I don't know of that makes sense.. but like 😭 a term to describe both of them at once (e.g., ‘‘yeah, sorry, you'll have to talk to a ____ about that!’’)

That makes sense! I've never heard a term for it so I'm just going to coin it!

Guardian - An umbrella term for alters who are protectors, caretakers, both, or similar roles.

The light brown and shield is for protecting roles The pink is for the care and love that they have while fulfilling these roles The blue and medical cross are for the gentleness of caretaking roles

Hopefully this helps and if you're not a fan of the term, here are some words that could also work: Patron, chaperone, guide, shield, and advocate

being a non-human alter is so weird because. like.

i'm not even source-compliant/accurate. i don't even look anywhere close to the source like other alters mostly do. literally no one would expect for me to be stanley from the stanley parable when i look like a hybrid of an angel + apple ii internally. it kind of makes sense considering how badly our body's face freaks me out but also makes zero sense at all

i sometimes wish the ' bah ' community was more anti endo and i dont harrass endos but like , i really just want help for my fragments rather than like supporting or interacting with any endos . . they just make me uncomfy personally . are there any ' bah ' accounts that are anti endo ? ? pls do let me know . .
