System Announcement: Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day, players! Use caution when navigating non-safe areas today. If you've been hit by the arrow of a Tiny Cherub, you will be infatuated with other monsters, and be unable to deal damage to them.
The only way to get rid of the Tiny Cherubs is to defeat Cupid, the Cherub Lord who is currently roaming Aincrad. Only player pairs that are connected through the Link System (which is now available outside of duels) will be able to defeat the Cherubs and Cupid.

The event will last throughout the whole weekend, since not everyone will have a chance to RP today. As always, if you have questions, feel free to ask!
System announcement:
On January 17th at 8AM PST, the game has received an update to the player duel system.
In addition to to the one-on-one player duels, there will also be arena matches. Two parties of two players each will face off in a special arena created specifically for these duels.
For the duration of the duel, players within the same party share a mental link, allowing the two players to strategize silently from anywhere within the arena. The first party to lose both players loses the match. Winners will receive Col, EXP, and rare items.

The arenas can take on any sort of setting from a forest, to mountains, and so on. When RPing an arena match, you can RP with 2-4 people in one thread. In the case of less than 4 people, two characters must be on the same party, and the third would be on their own, temporarily RPing as their own partner.

Since the Lieutenant seems to be sticking around, I guess we should make an official announcement or something. And because he's the first fictive we've had stick around and the him in published canon is kind of...infamous, I suppose, he's going to keep going by his rank. He'll introduce himself on a case by case basis if anyone's interested.
