Agents of the Abyss: An Explaination
So, a few weeks back I made a post about a personal project I'm working, but didn't get around to the details of said project. Well, here it is...
Agents of the Abyss is a nWoD supplement that started as a Mage Hack. The game takes place in the same nWoD setting and involves an organization of former humans turned into supernatural Agents of a Nameless, Abyssal Entity. The Agents are a cross between Men in Black and Cthulian Cultist, and seek to follow their Master's Will. To do this, they sell their souls for newer, better bodies made of a mysterious tar-like substance known as Ichor. Some say it's the Master's Blood and others think it is the physical form of corruption.
Anywho, the mechanics are almost complete. Most were "borrowed" from the Mage: the Awakening setting, as they were perfect for the free-form powers granted to the Agents. Some alterations were made for simplicity and story's sake, but the overall system is intact.
I'm currently typing up a bare bones "rule book" and hope to create one similar to the official source books when all the kinks are worked out.
