A lot of us have been relying on SimplyPlural and Octocon for system information storage
We do have an alternative though
We've been using Foretelling, and really like it
It's meant for worldbuilding for writers, but we've been using the characters section for headmate information, worldbuilding section for headspace information, and the chapter section for journalling/communication/ect
There's a lot to it, and it's great for complex systems
It had tags and groups for sisasystems and alter sorting
And you can share the information to your trusted people by adding them to your collaborators (read-only, read and edit, ect)
You are gonna need the basic run down, Huh? Lets get started, Shall we??!!
BASICS!
1. Yes, your name along with a bunch of other things will come back to you if you don't remember it already!
2. No, you can't just leave as much as everyone dearly wishes they could! You are sharing this body/meat sack now. Unless you somehow found the key to instant dormancy.. You kinda cant go anywhere. Just know you aren't forced to be nice to anyone in your brain. outside of your brain is a whole different deal. I would just say be nice to any person you dont know. Its.. easier that way as shitty as it feels or as much as you dont want to
3. Yes-ish, the voices in your head are other alters (most likely anyway...) They can be loud, annoying and give you headaches at first but sadly you are stuck with them.
4. I know your head hurts. Im sorry but it is kinda part of the package. We will get into that part soon dont worry.
5. You wont know where you are but! Its ok cause it shouldn't take long to work out! If you know how to see this or if you were shown this by another person. Please find your way google and search for your location or ask said person where you are!
If you were just left with this when you "woke up" and dont know what google or anything like that is. One... those pricks. two! FOLLOW THESE HELPFUL STEPS!
A. Identify if you are on a phone or computer!
If you know what those are. GREAT!
if not.. A phone is the rectangle hand sized box (The thing in your hand). A computer is a series of letter on brick and a screen showing light (The thing in front of you).
B. Find Google!
If on phone: There should be a way to get back to the home screen. Either a button at the bottom of the screen or just by swiping up. Once you do that you should find a little button that looks like a rainbow circle called Chrome! vV Like below Vv
If on a computer: You should be able to use the mouse which is one of two things. A little roundish thing off to the side of the computer or a pad down at the bottom that moves the cursor. Once you find that you should be able to move it to the little plus sign in the corner of your screen. Keep in mind its a "+" not a "x"
Either of these should help you if you just type in things like "Where am i?" or "My location"
NOW THAT THATS OUT THE WAY! NEXT QUESTION!
6. What time is it? What year? day?
Well! this slightly goes into the last question. You can do one of a few things to figure that out.
If on phone:
A. Swipe down and see the time/day/month at the top
B. Go to the home page and find an app that says calendar. It will show you the year/day/month and time
If on computer:
A. Look in the bottom right-hand corner. It should show you the year/day/month and time. If not
B. Use the tab (The plus thing you did to find where you are) To look up what year and stuff it is just like you did with the location.
This is the bare basics of things you need to know.
Its gonna be rough at first but remember its gonna be ok. If you wanna learn more we have more posts to explain stuff you wanna know.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm not super duper educated in the D.I.D realm of existence, but I have heard a lot about Endos being fake
if you don't mind answering, what is an Endo and why are they fake?? I just haven't found a lot of good info on it
sorry if the ask is uncomfortable, feel free to ignore it
Nah, you’re good:) thanks for the ask, my friend! (There’s probably better explanations somewhere else, so ALWAYS fact check. Take all of this w/ a grain of salt)
First; What IS D.I.D?
Dissociative Identity Disorder is a disorder that comes from trauma, much like PTSD. It is where the brain “splits” from unhealthy amounts of trauma/very severe stress. There is a less monotone version of this: OSDD, but that’s not our focus right now.
Endogenetic systems are where the system forms without known trauma, which is impossible. And why they are considered ‘fake’. Do we believe ALL endos are fake? No! Some, if not, most of them have hidden trauma. Which is totally okay, we just don’t want Endos interacting with us because they spread misinformation about D.I.D, and we don’t mess w/ that.
While the realm of possibilities is always open to where any disorder can form without known trauma, do take into account that even becoming a system can be extremely hard for the brain; let alone doing it as a self sabotage.
But: Endos are harmful to the community because they spread misinformation, and in turn hurt the systems that WERE formed by known trauma, which is why you should always do your research before self-diagnosing as a system.
nova says it was the only member who didnt feel some sort of sensation/ghost pain/phantom limb when in front but it implies the others do. can you guys elaborate on that? and specifically crescent's uhh.... thing. is it a blindfold? or just a face shadow? is it both? how can he feel it?
sincerely, Nosy Bitch Anon.
Ah yes the physical sensations! They suck. But they're so identity affirming and I feel like our blurriness would be 333x worse if they didn't exist. For us they tend to mostly manifest as either itching or loose pressures that don't really go away. Going to explain everyone's in the third person because. who the fuck am i.
Nova - already displayed in that one comic, weird eye pressure that has only happened twice.
Crescent - Weird {/pos} Comic presentation is actually kinda inaccurate to how she actually is? He'll sometimes get similar pressure around both eyes but its not a guarentee, most of the time they'll instead feel these somewhat tingling sensations in our legs that makes walking slightly more annoying.
The other three are much more straightforward to explain; Star has these almost-horns that lead our head to itching and have scared us a few times, Sun has this weird preasure in the right side of our neck that has also scared us due to unrelated neck issues, and Moon tends to get itchier arms and back due to her wings. It's all really annoying but it's how we are and it's all fine :D
Hello, Tumblr!! I have a discord server with loads of information on systems, aka people with DID or OSDD-1!!
If you’re a system, or a singlet who wants to know more about systems, or even someone who’s questioning if they’re a system, this place is great for finding information on systems! We cite all of our sources and have a channel for people to ask questions and a channel for personal experiences with dissociative disorders in general, but especially with being a system.
Feel free to join and even invite people! I’d love to see more people around :D
Here’s the link!!:

Good morning everyone! Welcome to the first day of Summer System Education Week. During this week, we’ll be posting a little bit about our disorder - information about it, our thoughts and experiences, and questions for all of you! It’s a week dedicated to information :)
Day 1: What is DID/OSDD?
DID/OSDD is a dissociative disorder. It forms due to childhood trauma. The Theory of Structural Dissociation posits that trauma early in a child’s life leads to the child being unable to integrate the aspects of identity it has, and those “parts” are what become alters. They don’t typically form distinctly, from what I know, until adolescence.
For me, looking back, my alters formed in high school - even if I didn’t recognize them as alters at the time. Being the nerd I am, I was very into writing and very into RP. And, well, this was really no different in my mind! I clearly made my alters (at the time, Sierra - the one writing this specific post - and Wade). I made my alters as “characters” to take over when I got stressed out.
From an alter perspective rather than a single perspective, we saw Rice as the “Core” personality. She was the “real” one - she was just napping. She needed a break from life. So we took over.
It wasn’t until college that we heard about DID. By then, our life had gotten… a lot harder. And when we split apart again in college after hearing about DID, researching it, and realizing we didn’t remember almost any of our childhood… Well. We were up to 7 alters by then.
Living with DID is hard, especially when you’ve yet to process your trauma. For us, every day we flinch and jolt at thoughts we don’t even know. We flinch and then say “I had a thought but I don’t know what it was.” We struggle to remember what we’ve done, which depresses us, because we always feel like we’ve never done anything - our partner has had to start a list of what we’ve done each day just so we don’t put ourselves down for being lazy. We have trauma flashbacks, but doubt if what we went through is trauma, because we were never REALLY abused, our parents loved us, just not in the way we needed.
Living with DID is also so… so beautiful. We have a lot of in-sys relationships, and our partner honestly finds it really cool and interesting (and I don’t begrudge them that - this IS an interesting disorder). We’ve progressed enough in our healing that we can now switch mostly (sometimes) on command, rather than when triggered. We are our own support system - when someone is struggling, there’s always someone to hold them and comfort them. We find our differences beautiful.
DID/OSDD is a hard disorder. It’s also a beautiful one, for us. We love our system. We wouldn’t change it, and while we wish that the trauma never happened to us, we are happy to know each other, and happy that we found a way to cope (even if it’s not necessarily the healthiest for us - we’re working on it).
These are just our experiences. ❤️ We aren’t professionals! Please, post about your experiences too!! We can’t wait to see more information today!
