we’re looking for new moderators for our server!!
though the applications are always open for those interested in becoming members of the moderating team of the System Sanctuary Server, we are specifically looking for new moderators right now, as we are understaffed! we are seeking volunteers who are interested not only in moderating the server, but in participating in an active server revamp, where we are redoing many aspects of the server to help make it a more friendly, open place for everyone.
what does the position entail?
the moderating team of the server is divided up into various groups known as mod squads (led by head mods)- each squad helps to tackle specific duties within the server such as littles areas, events, tech support, outreach, etc.
mods also share collective duties such as answering server member questions and assigning server member roles.
potential team members are not given any specific amount of time they must be online; we understand life is busy and chaotic! we only ask that team members communicate regularly about how often they plan to be online so the team can spread the workload as best as possible and have realistic expectations, and that team members let us (the owners) know if they will be offline for an extended period of time!
who can apply?
positions on the moderating team of the server are only offered to systems! this means singlets, or those who do not identify with being multiple in any way, are *not* asked to apply to join the team, and applications by singlets will not be accepted or considered!
we are looking for quality team members who....
-are members of the System Sanctuary Server
-are interested in working together with the moderating team as a collective body
-are able to volunteer their time and be at least active enough to provide a regular, weekly update to the mod team about when they plan to be online, and are able to let the team know if they will be offline for more than a week
-are accepting of and respectful to all kinds of systems, server members, and different groups of people
-share the vision for the server detailed in the sever ethics posts and mission statement
-are able to handle minor confrontations and enforce server rules
-are able to have constructive conversations and participate in resolving potential conflict within the mod team
