News: Multitasking - the Myth
Systematic thinking for an effective multitasking
View On WordPress
Multitasking is not a superskill on its own. It is the result of a well systematic thinking mode. How do you approach your busy agenda?
I hardly have a problem with systems. I in fact love systems. I like organized filing. And systematic operations. If people ever asked me what's my secret to being able to get things done in my office I'll tell them that it's really the organized and system sense that I have. Here's where I do have a problem. When the system is either non justified or worse : not working. I'm at dbkl and I'm filling a form. And I had to right the same thing three times because there are three copies of the same form to be filled. Have people not heard of carbon paper? Or did my time machine work and I've been transported to the year 1940? I look around and I wonder if the people who works here know that there's a solution to a problem in their system. Oh but by all means, hold it in, right? We are a very non confrontational society. So do not ever point out other people's room for improvements
