light and dim - poem
"I don't want your perfections. I don't want them. I want the questions unanswered. The lies you never told. The truths you always hide. I don't want your pearls. Give me your sweat as you glisten in the sun radiating the supreme journey of what you know you are. I want to know the pattern you forgot to weave in the basket of your universe right after you chose to throw it away at the first glance of sorrow. I want to know what kind of drugs you like. What hippy dress you wear on Sunday. How many cavities you've had in a lifetime and if you can take any more love on your third eye. I don't want your kisses. I want your eternity. Wrapped in cumin and cinnamon with Betels draped around it. Tied to my waist. I crave more than your mystery. I am drawn to your root. And no more marriage to mirrors or mirages. Only courage and strength. In the Light as in the Dim. In the Dim. As in the Light." -a.k.
