Syuvani, Aranahe warrior and Tamtey's little protégé
So a friend of mine is putting together an Avatar-themed DnD campaign, this is the character I'm working on for it!
During the timeline of AFoP she was an Aranahe child who hero-worshipped Tamtey. After what the RDA did to Hometree in FTA, she begged Tamtey to take her on as an apprentice. Tamtey was initially hesitant, remembering the misery of her own childhood "training", but with some help and encouragement from So'lek she agreed, and between the two of them, they taught Syuvani everything they knew about taking down RDA bases. Over the next several years as Syuvani grew up, she grew into quite the menace to the RDA, just like her mentors.
When she was old enough she began wanting to expand her operation beyond the Western Frontier, and that would be where she'd start the campaign.
Those who are familiar with my other Na'vi OCs might note that she shares a surname with Seylana - I thought it would be a fun little easter egg to make her a (very distant) relative hrh. She can't be a direct descendant of Seylana, since Seylana's only child Neynari moved to the Anurai clan and therefore all her descendants live there. She can't be a direct descendant of Seylana's siblings either, since Na'vi surnames are inherited through the male line and Seylana only has sisters, so her nieces and nephews would have different surnames. But, Syuvani could easily be a descendant of one of Seylana's cousins!
(Syuvani isn't actually really aware of this as Seylana+co lived a several generations before her; it's just a little fun fact for my own amusement hrh)
