The best songs I've ever written are stuck inside my head right now, and I am dying to get them out to you guys. I love these recent songs I've written so much and I hate that I'm the only one in the world who has ever heard them.

I just turned what was supposed to be a semi-serious song into a joke song because this new verse I just wrote is way more stupid and funny than the rest of the song. Hahaha. I am okay with this. A little throwback to the joke days of T-Rex Planet (even though those days never really ended).
This would be the song that I've tentatively titled "Guitar" from my last post.
W.I.P. Song Titles
I have about nine songs that I'm working on right now. Some are finished, some still have a ways to go, none are recorded. Here are my working titles for these songs: Without You Broken Let Me Help You... For 398 Rupees Guitar Waiting Not a Christmas Song Game Over: Continue? There's No Place Like Home I Wish I Was Dreaming None of these are official titles. Just temporary names I've given the songs so I can tell them apart; though at least a few of these titles will probably stick. The one word titles will absolutely change. P.S.: Anyone who recognizes "Without You" sure has been a T-Rex Planet fan for quite a long time :]
I just want to get my new music out to you guys...
Really badly. I'm frustrated because I don't have the equipment I need yet, but even more so because even when I get it, I'm just not good enough at what I do to get the songs to sound the way I want them to sound. Singing is so incredibly hard for me. Lots of you have told me I have a good voice, and that's super kind of you and I appreciate it a lot, but singing is really, really hard for me. I'm sure many of you probably noticed at some of the T-Rex Planet shows I've played (about half of them honestly) my voice was dying. I'm not that good at guitar either. Ugh. Anyway, I'm just super bummed you haven't heard anything new yet because I have a whole bunch of songs written that I'm really proud of that nobody's ever heard before. I just won't be able to do them justice. You might not notice, but I will. That's why I plan on never considering any of my songs finished. In the future, someday, even if T-Rex Planet doesn't exist anymore, I still plan on taking songs like I Welcome You To the Debutante's Ball and getting them professionally recorded. Well anyway, I just really love music, and that's all.
Finished writing another new song. :)
I can now allow myself to go to bed. I have a lot of recording to do if I wanna get every song I've written out to you guys this summer. Buying a second mic as soon as I cash this paycheck :)
These rare bursts of musical inspiration really make me happy. I have no idea how I'm gonna get all of these songs in my head recorded before I go to Peru, but I'm gonna try.
Gonna try real hard to finish up the vocals for this demo tonight, and then start experimenting with throwing in some other instruments. This is the best song I've ever written. I'm so stoked on it.
Ouch.
Finished another demo finally :) But disappointed because I sang most of the song sharp, which is weird because I'm normally flat. Maybe it has something to do with me singing the entire thing with a sore throat... I'm smart. Oh well, redo when I feel better!
