Yeah, i’m thinking that, too. The way I’m imagining it is maybe we’ll be playing as a friend/family member looking for Clancy, Pete, or Andre. Either that, or we’ll be playing as a police officer/DSO/whatever trying to investigate what’s going on after some people end up missing/dead.

So, whatever this new virus is called, is what likely infected the girl we see at the end of the demo. I’m kind of expecting to see a new virus or maybe the T-Phobos virus again. Anyway, I hope that the next trailer we see gives us more information on the plot and new cast.

Yes, they did say the demo was just there for gameplay and tone. But, what I’m wondering is if the events of the demo have to do with RE7? They probably slipped in plot points in the demo (like the Baker family, the house itself, etc.). But maybe this event never happened or just will be mentioned and have nothing to do with the real plot.
