Melinda knew for a fact that if she didn’t tell someone, anyone, soon she was going to lose her mind. Her parents were out of the question. She wasn’t ready for that just yet and she couldn’t even fathom bringing this up to her cousins they’d want to talk about it and try to set her up with a girl or something. She was not ready for that. She just needed to talk about it to someone.
So she decided with Chris. He was big brother and maybe the easier of the two to talk with. With that thought she pushed herself off her bed and went up to the attic where he was busy working. “Hey...uhm Chris? Can we talk?”
