               She had a point, they were free to do whatever they wanted but Daeil wasn’t going to act upon it. He respected her and her career and he knew that if Sejeong got involved with him, it would more than damage her career. “We just can’t, your popularity is no joke, and I think it would just be a bad move.” He shrugged, hoping he wasn’t coming off too harshly. “Just focus on your career - I’m not worth it, regardless of how much you or I want it.” Whenever he faced these situations he always thought of Byungho - the former 24k member who kept his private life a secret and it ended up ruining his music career. “I’ll just admire you from a distance...”

               “I- What?” He paused, thinking over the joke again, not quite catching it the first time. It clicked. A loud roar emitted from his mouth as he laughed uncontrollably at how bad the joke was. “WOW! I’m- speechless.”

               Daeil himself was a fan of the older lady, something about the experience and elegance was attractive and it seemed Mikki was also a fan of older men. “Do you really? Have you ever dated a ‘silver fox’ because if they’re grey then they must be pretty old - you’re still pretty young right?” He pondered over the subject, thinking that she might have been referring to him, he wasn’t old, or at least he didn’t think so. Also he definitely wasn’t a silver fox, he’d made sure to pluck out that one grey hair he found in his hair the other day so he was safe. “Who’s your ultimate old man crush? You’ve got to spill the beans now.”

“Why do you want to hang out with an old lady like me?”

               His expression changed to one of confusion. Knowing fine well she was the same age as him. “Did you forget how old I am? I mean I’m flattered you think I’m younger than you but you got it wrong.” Daeil snickered to himself as he reached and shoved the others shoulder. “I know you act old but, c’mon. We’re the same age.” He enjoyed teasing her. “But regardless I wanna hang out with you because I want to and I can? Got a problem?”

               “I don’t believe you.” Daeil reached out, pressing his index finger against her nose and making a ‘boop’ noise as he did so. “I think you are jealous that I spent time dancing with them instead of you - It wasn’t out of choice, and I am sorry. Don’t hate this oppa too much, alright?” He teased her, his expression was full of mischief and he just wanted to see how far he could tease her before she got mad at him. “But I mean, if you say you’re not jealous, then you must not be right....Maybe I’m just exaggerating...but I’m thinking that you’re definitely jealous.” Pausing to gauge her expression. “You wanted to do the dance with me right?”

“I did not mean for stripping to come out of this.”

                She was acting as if he had completely gotten naked in front of her. There was skin showing but it was just his torso, albeit rather toned, he wasn’t exactly a body builder. “You spilled the drink on me, I’ve got to get changed. Look away if you’re that offended.” Daeil teased, turning around to face her as he turned the fresh t-shirt the right way. “It’s really not that big of a deal though, are you going to arrest me for indecent exposure?” Further pressing her buttons.

22:43 it's cold and I want someone to keep me warm
