tw: mentions of blood
Another day in the office, another day of taking phone calls and replying to emails. It was just like any other 9 to 5 when Bina got to go home and rest for the evening. Though this time there was a slight detour and a need to change her outfit to something that wouldn’t hold a stain. Lately there hasn’t been any reason of Bina to be part of the dirty work but when the request came from within the company, action was needed to be taken. It seemed there was a few financial reports that didn’t add up to the annual cost of certain security camera installations.
Bina doesn’t really remember who long she had been standing in front of Mr. Bang, the head of their finance department. She just barded him with question after question, watching him sweat the more she asked. It was obvious he had something to do with it but the only evidence they had were reports. Currently her men were searching Mr. Bang’s laptop and waiting for any confirmation. Of course since it took a while the traitor thought he could call Bina a ‘weak wretched dog’, thinking he got away with it. All it took was one gloved right hook, square in the face to hear something crack within her hand and his head hung down trying to stay awake. Then the call came in; “Boss, it seems the laptop was retrieved from Mr. Bang’s office.”
Someone opened the door from behind where she stood over the man who wasn’t badly beaten, but clearly had a nice punch to the face that left him unconscious. Bina turned toward the man and released a heavy sigh, “And he had the nerve to talk back. To think my grandfather trusted this man and here he was, taking money from under our nose. Could of gotten away with it if he didn’t use a company computer.” It was a shame things had to turn out like this but luckily Bina had no tolerance for users.
“One he wakes up, freshen him out and take him to the authorities. Tell them to contact me for any information.” Her stare stayed blanked as she left the room but her noise caught something that was a first. They weren’t at some secret hideout or concealed room but her men did come from the back alley that wasn’t too far from a populated area. Why is there someone nearby? Curiosity now had her and of course the pit of her stomached dropped to her feet as she walked out to the alley. “Oh man, my new boots...,” Totally distracted from the matter at hand that she was dumb enough to walk outside with blood on her boots, utterly disgusted that man got her things dirty. She heard the crowds, catch the scents of different perfumes and colognes but there was one that stuck out a little too much.
“You have any business with me?” Bina took a shot out in the dark, bringing out her phone as if she was talking on the other line. It could be someone she knew, a shifter even looking for her help. She just knew the scent didn’t want to fade away.
