When Buddy first found out about t-rexes losing their teeth, the Pteranodon raised boy was kind of appalled at t-rexes just leaving discarded teeth around and not cleaning up after themselves

Just how could someone miss their own tooth coming out and not pick it up!?!

But fast forward a couple years later...

Don can be heard shouting in glee across Pteranodon Terrace, "Heeyyyy! I found another tooth! Oh yeah!"

Buddy actually grows so used to tooth replacement that he does indeed never notice his own teeth flying out. Especially since most tooth loss is from chewing through something thick or actively hunting.
