T1 VICIOUS CYCLE
So as some of you already know in October I will be cycling Newcastle to Edinburgh. That’s 200 miles!
I will be joined on this challenge by two of my best friends Naomi and Lucy. These ladies have willing sacrificed their time and bum cheeks to support me in celebrating 25 years of life living with TYPE 1 DIABETES.
I wanted to challenge myself and celebrate the fact that despite some ups and downs over the last few years I remain relatively healthy and hope that 25 years further down the line I will be able to say the same!!
25 years = 54,750 injects and 73,000 finger prick blood tests (at least)
The main aim of this ‘T1 Vicious Cycle’ is to raise as much cash as we can for JDRF – juvenile diabetes research fund UK
IF you would like to Donate to this fantastic charity and support us on our journey you can do so by going to
