i had a phone screening with the psych today who's going to do the evaluation for my top surgery ref letter, and they told me they literally got top surgery from the same surgeon 2 months ago. i can't say how incredibly refreshing it was to talk to a healthcare professional who had literally been in my shoes, acknowledged that i was there as a formality, and didn't ask me a single awkward question
