au: the supernatural doesn’t exist in beacon hills but the chimera order does, and they’re prepared to rid their town of terror and corrupt, preferably by extremely violent means.
“Enough.” The tone of Theo’s voice is final. The actions of the four crouched figures before him grow rigid. Obediently, they turn to face him. “Did you get his wallet?” He asks, eyebrow raised, as he glances over the scene before him. Usually, these kind of kills are one or two-person job. But tonight is different. Tonight’s target is special. And Theo, being the leader is not prepared to take to the risk. He wanted this one to be messy, taking place in dead of night. Way, way, way in the backwoods of Beacon Hills.
“He’s still breathing.” Tracy announces as she stands up from her murderous stance. Her face splattered with blood. Wordlessly she hands Theo the wallet of the now struggling victim. Although he says nothing, he is grateful. Tracy is nothing if not reliable. Out of all of them he trusts her most. Despite the fact that he barely trusts himself.
The rest of the group are on their feet now. They loom over their victim. “Can we put him out of his misery now?” Corey’s voice is sympathetic. Theo resists the urge to roll his eyes. Corey is useful. He is integral to their way of life. Theo must never forget that. He tries not to, especially on nights such as this.
“Yes.” Theo nods, before stepping towards the bloody (almost) corpse. He smirks, this might be their best work yet. Theo often thinks of murder as an art. If you’re going to do a job, you may as well get paid to do something you love right?
“P-please.” Their victim splutters, choking on his final words, grasping to wisps of his final breaths. “I-I’m begging, y-you.”
“Please?” Hayden hisses, rubber gloved hand covered in blood, dagger clenched in her right fist. “You think that’s gonna save you?” “Did it save Juliette when you hurting her? Did it stop you when you were sexually assaulting her?”
“Please never saves scum like you Mr Rhodes.” Theo chuckles bitterly before he smashes a boot-clad foot into the victim’s throat. Crushing it.
“Holy shit.” Josh whispers under his breath, staring at their handiwork.
“Corey, Josh.” Theo glances up at males in his group. “Go get the shovels.” As if on auto-pilot, the boys head towards the truck.
“How much was this one again?” Tracy asks, staring in awe at the mangled body before her.
“500, 000.” Hayden replies absently.
“Nice.” She smirks.
And it is nice. Their client will be more than pleased. Their DNA is nowhere on the scene. This death bears not hint of human interference. The wolves in beacon hills have grown vicious lately, this poor man was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Everything it just fine. It pleases Theo. He is pleased with the efforts of his team. They are unstoppable and they are expensive. This is exactly what he wants.
