[TUTORIAL] How to use the Idol Champ app to support Wonho on Show Champion

Wonho will be having his debut soon but you can give him a head start on Show Champion! Here’s how you can earn hearts and stars using the Idol Champ app in order to support Wonho.

01. LOGIN

You first need to download the IDOLCHAMP app on Google Play or on the App Store. If you find any difficulties downloading the app it must be because it is not available in your country. To solve this, Android users can try using this link while iOS users might have to create a new Apple ID with its location set in Korea.

Once you’ve downloaded the app, click the ☰ icon to sign-in.

You can create an account by using MBC, Facebook, Google, Kakao or Apple. Follow all the steps and you’ll be redirected to the app’s home page.

02. MY IDOL

Click the ☰ icon to access your profile. Edit your profile to your liking, by adding a picture and a nickname.

Under your “MY” page, you’ll find a “MY IDOL” section. You’ll have to select Wonho as your idol bias. To do so, click the “Edit” button. Afterwards, you’ll want to add your idol. So, you’ll have to search for Wonho:

Once you find his name, click it and then click “Apply” to complete. Exit and enter your “MY IDOL” page again and click Wonho’s icon to make him your bias.

03. HEARTS & STARS

Idol Champ has three different types of points (or chamsim): the ruby chamsim, the time chamsim and the chamsim stars. Essentially, the Idol Champ app works with levels which are made of XP that you earn while using the app. Those levels are important when it comes to earning hearts, for example (the higher your level, the more hearts you earn). Here are the types of points:

Time chamsim: Expire every month on the first day and you can use up to 100 every day. You earn these by opening the app, by making your first comment, by getting over 30 likes on a post you’ve made or by solving quizzes;

Ruby chamsim: Don’t expire and there’s no limit to their use. You can earn these by posting on your bias’ community page, watching ads and completing missions.

Star chamsim: Useful for Stargiving. You can earn them by watching ads.

You can check the current status of your chamsim by clicking your profile.

To purchase or get ruby hearts and stars for free, you can click the “MY CHAMSIM - CHARGE” button on your profile page or by clicking the Store icon on the top bar of the app. In the Free section, you can watch ads to earn ruby chamsim and star chamsim.

04. COMMUNITY

Click “Community” to go to Wonho’s page on Idol Champ. You can see and like other Wenees posts and to submit posts yourself in order to earn chamsim. Or click the “For WONHO” banner in order to give your stars to Wonho (“Stargiving” section).

I got an ask asking to to make a text gradient in Tumblr, unfortunately I did the entire tutorial in the ask and when I went to save it somehow it got deleted. Sorry about that.

Text gradients are fairly easy to do once you know how, it’s just a matter of practice and it can be quite repetitive if you, like me, use them on a regular basis.

First, you need a site that will generate the HTML code (note it MUST be HTML and not CSS because Tumblr doesn’t use CSS for posts - at least as far as I am aware).

I use this site.

Here you can choose the colours using the color section, and the Your Message for the text you want to turn into a gradient.

You can put in hex codes to choose specific colours.

Or use color presets to use gradients people have used in the past.

So now I have selected my colours I will type in the text into the Your Message box.

Click Generate Color Faded Text, which creates the following -

Now there is a preview of what the text should look like with the Code below.

The code can now be copied and pasted (though note you don’t need the “<div>” and “</div”>), but will not work in Tumblr in it’s current format will will need to change the code which you can either do in Tumblr itself or in Notepad.

We will demonstrate in Notepad because it is quicker than deleting individually.

We copy the code from the web page and paste it into notepad.

Now we need to click Edit -> Replace (or ctrl+H for the shortcut).

First we need to add a space between “color:” and “#”. So we type “color:#” into Find What and type “color: #” into Replace With and then click Replace All.

So now it should look like this, and replace should still be open.

The second thing we need to do is remove “;” so we type “;” into Find What and leave Replace With completely empty (ensure there are no spaces or anything in the box or it may stop the code working). Then click Replace All again, which should make the code look like this.

Now we have a working code. So you open up your post in Tumblr (note: I am using my main blog to demonstrate this; also you don’t have to do this is text posts it works in photo posts as well).

Click the Cog in the top right of the post, go into Text Editor and click HTML.

Now cope the code from Notepad or from the Web Page (remember if you copy from the web you will have to go through the code to add spaces and remove “;” to ensure the code works).

Now click preview and it should show your code working as a gradient!

There we have it! A text post with a gradient!

How to level up in SF9′s official daum fancafe [200707 ver.]

This is a fancafe tutorial for the new rules to level up in SF9′s daum fancafe! Please feel free to send me a message if you have any questions.

This is only the level up process, if you didn’t sign up in fancafe yet, you can follow the first steps of this tutorial.

Step 1

After opening sf9′s official daum cafe and making sure you’re logged in, scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the ‘level up’ section. Click on '등업신청’.

Step 2

Here you should start filling out the questions you’re required to answer for level up. First click on the blue lock to make your post private, if you don’t do this staff will not level you up. Read the description and answer in the format given. If you click on '등록’ your level up form will be posted.

❗: If you’re applying on desktop, you’ll find that you can’t click on the link to actually find the fancafe questions. You can find them here. If you're unsure of the answers to some of the questions, you can double-check with mine in the picture below.

1. Please write your name/age/place of residence/Daum ID

2. Please write the names of SF9 (stage names) as well as their date of birth (YYMMDD).

10. Attach a proof picture of you streaming SF9 - ‘Summer Breeze’. - Take captures of when you start the streaming and 5-10 seconds before it ends; make sure to show the timestamps. - Make sure to write your fancafe nickname on the capture image. - Make sure to ‘Like (Heart)’ the song. - The only music sites that will be counted are Melon, Genie, Bugs, Soribada, FLO and VIBE, Spotify and Apple Music.

After posting your level up form you should wait around a week before FNC staff levels you up, this could take some time (however you can also be levelled up within a few days). Your application will be moved to ‘등업완료. If you haven’t answered all of the questions correctly, or your nickname is in violations of the fancafe rules, your application will be moved to ‘등업리턴’. You’ll have to keep re-applying until you enter successfully.

hello!! your icons are incredibly cute :) could you tell me how you make them so fast and in such large quantities because i'm currently making my own icons and i highkey want to die from the repetitiveness of it all.

hello! sorry for the late reply idek why i dont get notifs anymore. Misc icons tend to be easy, you just need a good psd. Fandom icons, however, are sometimes a pain in the ass to edit cause they involve background removal and not all psds work the same way on all scenes, but the process is usually the same.

1. I recommend making a basic psd for icons, that way you will simply have to adjust layers instead of having to colour each picture separately.

2. Never crop your pictures!! Go to file > new > choose your canvas size > drag picture > ctrl + t and transform it by pressing down shift and dragging the arrows in each corner, that way the quality of the picture remains intact.

3. Continue to edit your icon: coloring > merge layers > duplicate by clickiing ctrl + j > add smart sharpen > flatten image > save!

4. Now, go to history and click right before flatten image

5. Click ctrl + t. > again, transform your pic into whatever angle you want by dragging the corners while pressing down shift.

6. Adjust / add layers > flatten image > smart sharpen > save & you’re done! Repeat as many times as you want. Just make sure you don’t add many steps, there’s a limit to which you can go back to.

HOW TO VOTE FOR STRAY KIDS ON THE “IDOL CHAMP” APP.

- First, open the “Idol Champ” app - than, when opened, click on the highlighted button in the top left corner.

- Second, you need to click on the "로그인 해주세요" button in the left corner - this, when clicked, grants you access you to the log-in page. 

- Third, when you’ve accessed to the log-in page, click on the Facebook, Google, or on the Kakaotalk icon - this, when successful, creates an “Idol Champ” account.

- Fourth, when on the launch page, scroll down until you’ve reached “[Show Champion Vote] 3rd week of august” - this is where you can cast your vote - than, when reached, click on the highlighted “[Show Champion Vote] 3rd week of august” category to access the voting page. 

- Fifth, when you’ve accessed to the voting page, search for “My Pace” - than, when found, cast your vote three times.

→ Voting for Stray Kids on the Idol champ app is essential for them “possibly” winning an 1st place on Show Champion - reminder; voting ISN’t mandatory, but it is appreciated.
