Robin quirks a brow, “And what pray tell does the Evil Queen have to do with meal time? Are you suggesting that you use somewhat dubious means to make certain that your meals are much more sought after and enjoyed than her own? That’s rather deliciously duplicitous of you if that is the case.” He seems rather amused by the mere thought of it and wonders if that’s what she meant.
“Well yes, sometimes I do.” A teasing grin coming to her face. “My lasagna is known to have a bit of a kick.” She winked at him before she laughed and cleared her throat. “I mean that being who I am not many would expect me to be friendly with Granny. Or anyone else for that matter. Things are slowly starting to change. I can nod at someone on the street and I won’t be fully ignored or have to worry about that split second of fear I see in their eyes. I understand of course. My time as the Evil Queen scarred and frightened many but it’s getting better.”
He narrows his gaze upon her seriously. “Are you openly admitting to that? My my you are trouble aren’t you?” Slowly a smile starts to appear as he files away the tidbit about her lasagna, whatever that is, and grows all the more interested in learning who she is as well as what her life has been like. “Aye, it took time to create the situation, and it always takes much longer to undo the damage that was done. This is something I am all too familiar with if in my own way as I am but a formerly rakish thief with a well earned reputation for being a pain in the arse to all royals everywhere.” With a shrug of his head, “Didn’t set out to become infamous across realms but I grew to enjoy it.”
As they are still alone he watches her for a moment. “I have heard a great many things about the Evil Queen but from where I’m sitting it is hard to imagine that you are both one and the same.”
