TEXT 📲 Julie & ?
Julie: Someone is giving away kittens and it's taking everything in me to not get one.
Julie: But kittens. 😭
Hyunjae ducks out of his group's dressing room, trying his best not to be seen as he darts for the bathroom. His group doesn't go on for a while so he doesn't think he'll be missed, but the managers have been keeping him on a tight leash for this round of promotions.
It's awkward to be back. There wasn't any big announcement about it, and rumors still swirl around him wherever he goes. It almost feels like he's still on hiatus, especially with his role as a glorified backup dancer for this comeback. It's his own mistake that got him in this position, but it doesn't mean he can't be upset about it.
There's too many people waiting by the bathroom as he gets close, so Hyunjae instead detours towards the stairwell. It's usually quiet, unlike the stairwell at the Inkigayo studio.
Luck isn't on his side, though, as he nearly runs into someone turning the corner. "Sorry, I—Oh, it's you."
supernatural afterparty
for @syfxjia
(tw alcohol)
Chaerin takes a deep breath as her car stops in front of the venue, letting a smile settle on her expression. Though she's tired from the charity concert StarbrighT performed at earlier, she always looks forward to the afterparties. The chance to socialize with other idols is a treasure she covets, and she won't let a little fatigue get in her way.
She pushes open the wide double doors and steps inside, greeted to a large gathering of the other idols from the concert, as well as models, actors, and other celebrities. Having only debuted a year ago, Chaerin hasn't personally met many of the celebrities present, but she recognizes quite a few of them. Most people are already clumped together in groups, drinking and socializing, and Chaerin can't wait to join in.
She makes her way to the table delicately stacked high with a tower of champagne glasses, taking one for herself and sipping at it before making her way around the large ballroom. She mingles with a few celebrities, greeting people she knows and introducing herself to people she's never met. Most people receive her with wide smiles and friendly words, but some hear her name and their expressions twist into a look as they recognize her name, and though Chaerin should be used to it, it still stings enough that she slips back to the edge of the crowd for a moment to collect herself.
There's a table full of wine glasses on this side of the room, and Chaerin takes one after finishing her champagne. She sips on it as she observes the crowd, and her eyes are eventually drawn to a figure hanging back against the far wall. Chaerin can't help but stare, squinting as she tries to place the familiar woman. Is she from one of the girl groups Chaerin had met backstage earlier?
Then it hits her all at once. Jia Acosta, FL0R H4NA's main rapper. Chaerin's eyes widen—no way.
Chaerin had been a fan of FL0R H4NA since their debut. Their unique, powerful concept had inspired her through the roughest times in her life, and Chaerin had always dreamed of performing with them in some capacity. It seemed unreal to see one of the members standing just across the room from her—and for it to be Jia Acosta, no less. Chaerin had always held special respect for Jia, and now she feels more than a little starstruck.
Her legs are moving before her mind realizes, and soon she's crossing the room and walking up to the other idol's side. She stops just in front of her, giving the unsuspecting woman her brightest, beaming smile.
"Hi, Sunbaenim! I'm Park Chaerin—I'm a huge fan!"

Soorin didn’t know the person enough to drunkenly cling on to them, but here she was, on the couch towards the back of the party, doing just that. Her mind was in a gloomy haze and she just wanted something warm and definite. Soorin looked up to the other’s face, taking one of their cheeks into her hands and patting it lightly a few times. In slurred words, she murmured to them with squinted eyes and upturned brows, “Y’know, your face… your face feels sooooo niiiiiice.”
Is it frowned upon to wear a kilt to prom? Because I think I’m into it.
Does anyone wanna go half on a pizza? I know that I don’t have an amazing track record when it comes to sharing food, but I’ll actually let you have your half. I made a giant pot of Mac and Cheese before my asshole cat climbed into it and took a nap. Now my insides are angry with me and I only have ten dollars. Please help. I’ll kiss you.
You know that feeling when you’ve got a giant fucking crush on someone but they’ll never like you that way because you’re cute and all but it’s just not enough? It’s consuming my entire heart right now and all I'm gonna today do is lay in bed under my pile of fruit snack wrappers and revaluate my life choices.
Does anyone want to come over to my apartment and collect cats on their phones with me? We can listen to music and I’ll feed you.
