Surprisingly, it took just one small idea that the Teyvat Academy has its own school newspaper/magazine (Charlotte is thriving there), as my subscribers in Telegram (official and for AU) sent a bunch of magazine art.

Now I also want to find time and apply my education as a graphic designer - to create the "official" cover of the Teyvat Academy magazine. In the meantime, here's some fan creativity for you!

How would Mondstadters swear

Oh, that's a funny story. I remember how we discussed the topic of Teyvat swearing in Telegram, and it seemed to me that I was making a post here (because I remember exactly how I suffered with the authentic translation of some phrases), and I found it!

So, a few more thoughts from the Telegram people) The translation is crooked, but tit is what it is

About swearing. They can be associated with the elements, since in Teyvat they worship not only Archons, but also elements, for example: lightning blast you, lets the wind blows you away, lets mushrooms sprout from you, so that the winds turn away from you (wind is the personification of freedom, so this is a wish to go to prison. Among sailors, this may be a desire to lose a fair wind), a rock may tear you apart, you don't have a drop of dendro (you don't have brains), don't you even have a pyro in your house (a desire to become so poor that not even a light in the house was not enough food. im feeling kinda lost in the storyline rn.. and as a slow person i tend to not understand things easily 😅😅 can you explain who the characters are from teyvat academy that is currently in UA and just like a short explanation on the storyline rn 😭

You can really get a little confused in the timeline, due to some mistakes at the beginning (the famous hint of the Black Whip, although it's not even there yet) and although I specify dates in animatics, I rarely specify when they watch reactions. However, I tried to clearly show who came to UA from Teyvat (for example, I added them all into the Opening), but we can repeat it.

First, the representatives: Initially, Arlecchino, Childe, Nahida, Ganyu and Albedo came to UA as "teachers", Wanderer as a student/assistant teacher and Ayaka, Kazuha, Hu Tao, Collei, Lyney, Lynette, Kinich and Mualani as students. But we have the Sports Festival right now, so Raiden, Kaeya, Cyno, Tighnari and Baizhu, Charlotte and Freminet, and Dahlia have come (to support).

So, now a little bit about the Timeline:

For the first season, I gave them 2 days a week to watch videos. It's usually Wednesday and Saturday. You might ask why not Saturday and Sunday, but I wanted to give the students at least one full day off during the week, during which they're not required to do anything. This structure is not entirely permanent, because, for example, from the middle of the second season, they will be limited to one day a week (Saturday). Ask why? The official version is the exams are approaching. The unofficial version is that I need to stretch the second season of the reaction to all the events of the second season of the MHA. Otherwise, everything will get even more mixed up because of the difference between what they are watching, when they are watching, and what is happening in animatics. It's going to be a mess. But back to the timeline.

They watch the Prologue on the second day of school. This is the day when reporters infiltrate, and in the evening, representatives of Teyvat come to them. The next day, the USJ happens.

In the same first week, they watch Episode 1 about Ayaka & Yoimiya.

In the second week, they watch S1 Ep2 & S1Ep3 about Gorou & Kokomi and Itto & Shinobu, and S1Ep4 & S1Ep5 about Ayato and Kazuha

In the third week, they watch S1Ep6 & S1Ep7 about Yae Miko and Raiden Ei, and the Spinoff about TA representatives.

On the first day of the fourth week, we have the Sports Festival.

On Saturday of this week they are watching S2Ep1 & S2Ep2 about Teens of Mondstadt (Noelle, Razor, Fischl and Bennett) and the Church Trio (Dahlia, Barbara and Rosaria).

After that, the internship week begins.

At the moment, this is the entire timeline that we've managed to touch on (well, we haven't gotten to internships yet, but it doesn't matter). I mark animatics with dates, so you can watch them.

I'm not infallible, but I'm trying. There are and will be mistakes, but I'm doing this reaction because I want to share the story and edits, and also to shock the Heroes and break their worldview, because it's funny and I hope you have as much fun as I do :D

A little lore about languages and a little sketch

This is not an entirely original solution to the language barrier. I took the idea of an Allspeak(?) from Marvel and shoved it into the Irminsul. Why does it also work out of Teyvat? Well, it's for me to know and you to find out))

Izuku and his friends + a few other 1A students decided to drop by one of the TA students' lessons. Mr. Albedo kindly agreed. The man was lecturing as usual when…

Ochako: um… Mr. Albedo, what language do you write in?

Albedo: Hmm? *looks from the blackboard to the students* Oh, my apologies. This is the Teyvat-written, a language designed specifically for all Teyvat peoples to understand. If you focus a little bit, you can understand it too. Try. *The teacher's eyes sparkle with research interest*

Momo: I am… I can really understand what's written there now?!

Izuku: That's amazing! How does it work? Is this some kind of quirk?

Hu Tao under her breath: Yeah, a quirk.

Albedo: Teyvat-written and Teyvat-spoken were created by the Goddess of Wisdom herself at the end of the Archons War and inscribed in the Irminsul. Thanks to this, any written or spoken word can be translated and understood by another intelligent being, even if they themselves do not know Teyvat language. This is convenient, but not ideal, so it is recommended to use your native language rather than Teyvat for any cultural and official matters.

Tsuyu: Do you have more than one language, kero? I hadn't thought about it before.

Mualani: Of course there is! Modern languages for each region, their ancient versions, different dialects, languages of other species, and extinct ones!

Collei: Madame Faruzan likes to say that the laziness of young people kills Darshan Haravatat, and Teyvat-ish makes it meaningless. It makes her very angry.

Ayaka: *thoughtfully* I've heard that you need to learn 20 languages to get there.

I just realized that the MHA world's social stance is extremely black and white when it comes to hero and villain. Aside from the main conflict of AFO and OFA, the hero society's biggest problem is its own worldview, which is the reason for many of the characters, both on the villains' and heroes' sides.

The view of black is bad, and white is good, no matter the severity and circumstantial difference of the individual.

Each crime committed is villainous, and all purposes behind such acts become irrelevant/is negated since what they did in the end is considered a villainous deed. Even someone who steals for survival can be branded as on the same level as a murderer, and branded with the shiny title of 'Villain'. Even if punishments varied for each crime, the one who commits the crime will still suffer the stigma of being the 'villain', especially with the press always live reporting whenever a pursuit between 'hero' and 'villain' happened.

While heroes are meant to save the day, and do the 'good' thing. That they are heroic, selfless, devoted to their role as saviour. The idea that heroes will save everyone and the needy will be rescued is the primary reason why Tomura(dry lip guy- I don't remember his name) became a villain in the original story because the people that saw him help him since either way the heroes would 'save' the day.

Not only that, but they pushed this agenda of one or the other on children as well, going so far as to equate a quirk(that mostly relies on genetics) with 'villain' and 'hero'. Calling children who have just received their quirk (which, strictly speaking, is like a generational heirloom passed down that changes through every owner yet still carry a semblance of the prior generation's quirk traits no matter how small) a villain for having a quirk that could do bad things or need obscure means to activate it(like in Himeko's situation) and going so far as to abandon them for that sole reason. Not to mention the double standards for heroic quirk and villainous quirk that people have as well.

The only major problem that was addressed in the story is that the hero and villain are still human in the end, and that bad can change.

The side issues become completely irrelevant once the greater good stop the greater evil.

Even with the case of OFA, which is known to be this villain that opposes peace, experiments on people, and kills people. They didn't choose the 'right' thing to do, which is to kill him and stop his decade-old reign from possibly continuing, but the 'good' thing to do, which is just to throw him in prison and take away his senses and mobility. Only perished later on in the story by his own means after failing to overtake Crusty's body.

Maybe that is why when the prisons broke out, the city was utterly destroyed and instantly became the villain's entire playing ground because the government chose to show 'good' by imprisoning criminals instead of outright sentencing major crimes for death. Which leads to the prisons holding too many criminals, and more villains = more destructive power = the entire city/ country going into panic mode the instant prisons broke out.

While Teyvat is like a fairy tale story book that slowly unravels its darkness the deeper you go in and the more you uncover. MHA is a world adhering to one line only, that is good and evil, with an extreme moral spiral in between that flung people within it on each polar side with no exception.

Honestly, I sometimes have doubts, is everything really that bad and exaggerated in the world of Heroes? Even in the late seasons??

I watched MHA, but it was a long time ago and a lot of my understanding and preferred headcounts were based on fanfiction. Yes, I need to review the anime, I really need to. Did I do it in a year? No. And I'm really mad at myself.

However, no matter what I end up seeing in the anime, it's my AU and I can use and point to anything. Poking Heroes in their black and white morality is a lot of fun)

Teyvat is a garden that the deeper you dig, the more bodies you find.

And MHA is a glass house that looks beautiful and reliable, exactly until you start wondering how it all works.

Teyvat Academy AU || Lore Part 1 || REACTION

It's unfair that I have a Russian-speaking group, but no English-speaking group dedicated to my AU. Teyvat has been cut off from the rest of the Earth for a long time, there was almost no information about it, except that there are many quirkless people there and they believe in some gods. //this implies an island with an Academy more than the world of Teyvat, almost no one has even heard of it.

Teyvat Academy is an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, surrounded by a storm wall that protects both from natural conditions and from espionage. On the island itself there is an official Academy building and various training grounds, seven dormitories (by regions) and several small towns that help maintain the island's infrastructure, various scientists study the Earth, and spies monitor the outside world.

TA conducts not only Hero courses starting from high school (after 9th grade, that is, from the age of 15-16), but also additionally provides an opportunity to get an education in many civilian professions. Every owner of the Visions is required to take a course on controlling their elementary abilities.

TA teaches students how to handle weapons, hand-to-hand combat, element theory, how to introduce themselves in different situations, and the like. Already in the first year, novice heroes are sent to practice at the Adventure Guild in Teyvat. //archers are required to be trained in the use of firearms, for others it's optional

After graduation, students can be Heroes in Teyvat, or go out into the outside world (in this case, they will be provided with support from other well-known Teyvat Agencies)

The opinion of the world about the Teyvat Academy and the owners of the Visions is extremely negative. People with the Visions are cheaters, and the Academy sends these poor, brainwashed people to their deaths. Hello, quick question regarding Teyvat Academy's location in the Atlantic Ocean. Would there be concerns regarding its location due to it being in one of the most heavily trafficked oceans in the world?

If they're located in the Atlantic Ocean, the most remote place would be Tristan da Cunha

But (just in my opinion btw) I've always imagined Enkanomiya in this world to be in Point Nemo-which is the point the ocean which is farthest from any continent

This place is basically the Dark Sea of Teyvat, on Earth.

I've heard about Nemo Point, and although it's cool in its own way, inserting Teyvat Island there seems counterproductive if you originally wanted to establish connections.

I didn't really think about where the island was located in the Atlantic Ocean (although I was leaning towards the southern half), but I liked the joke that they were in the place of Atlantis.

Perhaps one of the many conspiracy theories surrounding the Teyvat Academy is that they are actually Atlanteans (besides aliens, reptilians, and a bunch of sadistic scientists)
