So TAAFI rottmnt panel take aways
1. Renet was originally supposed to be in Rise
2. The original plot of the movie was supposed to be Rat King taking control of splinter. It was supposed to be a tragic story of Father against sons (I NEED this)
3. The movie takes place a few months after the series, not two years. I’m now side-eying all my stories
4. They were very vague on a season 3. It was very much “Keep hope alive. We still want to do a Rat King movie.”
5.The original movie opener is brutal in the best way ( also Splinter was missing in it.)
6. The movie was originally going to be a Raph movie and they switched it to Leo.
7. They fought not to retcon Rise!Casey (foot recruit)
All in all, good panel. Would have loved a definitive answer on season 3 but I also like that it’s vague. That means it’s not a no.
