Thrawn anticipating every enemy move and crushing them?

No problem. Having lived through war I can totally imagine that someone like Thrawn could do that to all the incompetent egotistical military leaders I saw waste troops and weapons on military strategies that made no sense even to child me.

But you know what I don't buy?

Thrawn fluently speaking (at least) 6 languages.

I've been using English since I was twelve and still can't sound half-coherent in it, to say nothing about all the other failed attempts. 2 years of Latin and 30 years later all I've got is Latin : bellum, bell-i n. English : war. (Yes learning Latin language is mostly learning how to talk about war. Thrawn would love it.)
