Next on @bbeafrica features Ebo Taylor’s lost sessions recorded in 1980 while on a club tour of Nigeria with his regular band. Ebo and Chief Tabansi (of #tabansi Records) decided to record a one-album session to be released exclusively on Tabansi. Unfortunately the master tapes got shelved in a dusty backroom in Tabansi’s Onitsha HQ for almost forty years. After last year deal between @bbemusic and #TabansiRecords, Joe Tabansi (Chief’s son now administrator of the label) and Peter Adarkwah (the name behind #BBEmusic) decided to reissue this masterpiece that came out on their hands with all Ebo’s own compositions played with his touring band: George Amissah, Mat Hammond, George Kennedy and George Abunuah.
