How did you make that wallpaper of Sailor Saturn?! It's beautiful!! Have you made any of the other senshi?
Thank you! I’ve been teaching myself Photoshop for years, so the Saturn wallpaper was a combination of tricks I’ve done many times before.
Find the art I want to use –> Cut out the artwork –> Clean it up –> Change the colours using the Curves adjustment –> Resize it so it fits in the 1136 X 640 mobile wallpaper resolution –> Copy and paste the art into a 1136 X 640 image w/ a black background, leaving space for the clock at the top –> Use a Photoshop brush to create the bokeh background and place it on a layer below the art –> Play around with layer blending options to get the colours & shadows I wanted.
(I know that’s a lot, but I can go into greater detail about any of the steps if requested)
I have made many more wallpapers, some of which have been posted on this blog (pretty sure there’s a link to them under “Link List” on the left of my blog layout) but everything else is at soapboxinggeek.deviantart.com. My gallery is organized by character, desktop or mobile, and whether it has anime/manga/Crystal or doujinshi artwork.
