𓏲 ๋࣭ ࣪ ˖ what stylist!alice would dress their blue lock blorbos in for various met gala themes (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧
KAISER × (2024) Sleeping Beauties
dior men's fall 2020 collection | georges hobeika spring 2025 collection | vivienne westwood fall/winter 1999 collection
i chose this theme for kaiser as its dresscode was outlined by the telling of the story, "the garden of time" by j.g. ballard, which tells the story of a wealthy aristocrat and his wife living in a utopian estate attempting to stop a mob by cutting flowers that reverse time one by one until none are left as a metaphor for the the passing of time and how human efforts to stop it are futile despite the pleasures it may bring.
it also detailed about the "sleeping beauties" of the fashion world, pieces in certain collections that are so ultimately delicate that no one can wear them. it reminded me a lot about kaiser preferring to the future over the past and how his father refused to touch or damage the rose kaiser's mother gave him.
christian-centered theme for the christian golden boy himself was an absolute perfect fit for yukimiya. this theme revolved how religion had influenced the fashion world by adorning catholic fashion from foundational eras (namely medieval, renaissance, and victorian.)
KARASU × (2017) Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons
comme des garcons men's spring/summer 2000 collection | junya watanabe men's fall 2024 collection | comme des garcon's men's spring/summer 2010 collection
rei kawakubo's artistry is described best as "innovative", "avant-garde", and "unconventional"… which, in my mind, is very much pointing in the direction of "extraordinary." i chose this theme for karasu in particular since this year's themes since he'd appreciate how remarkable the collections kawakubo had to offer and to highlight a japanese designer capable of such while also parttaking in a theme dedicated to her would i think bring him great honor to his heritage.
𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝒈𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 : strangers to lovers. meet-ugly. next-door neighbors turned roommates-ish. dating without meaning to. "you've changed me for the better." inexperienced x inexperienced. city girl x country boy. cd collector x vinyl collector.
𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒂𝒑𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒇 : sharing earbuds on the train. co-parenting a cat. balcony conversations at sunset. homemade pottery. lavender & eucalyptus. playing music together. shared jewelry. slow dancing in quiet evenings. last-minute concert dates. what's hers is his, what's his is hers. bickering over britpop.
𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 : what ends up as an accidental exchange of insults over matcha of all things starts up a quirky friendship between two unassuming next-door-neighbors as a new tenant from kyoto moves in.
he doesn't know too much about the urban area while she knows every corner and in an attempt to make him feel more at home, she introduces the city and what became of her life in it to him in a manner that he can only describe as... "unusual."
— 𝒎𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆.
𝑨 : "you're quite the singer in the shower."
𝑻 : "you were listenin' to me through the walls? hope i gave ya a show."
𝑨 : "i never said you were good."
𝑻 : "thought it was my week to take care of dinah."
𝑨 : "she likes sleeping in my bed better, i've found."

𝑻 : "thank ya kindly. but if ya love me, then don't do that next time."
𝑨 : "duly noted. take-out for tonight, then?"
𝑻 : "already diallin' them."
love, alice. first revamped version! lots have changed since we first started out, so this is more an updated status summary of tabiali :D (no pressure to interact! merely just an updated intro post)
tabiali yuri in which karasu has the waistband of her boxers peeking from her jeans while i have my the lacy waistband of my undies peeking out from mine
i havent really talked abt tabiali for awhile :0..!! i suppose it’s because unlike my other f/os, it’s not a traditional relationship as i view the it bordering on queer-platonic. something of the sort…!
that quieter sense of love where sticking on a label doesn’t make much sense—because a label is too limiting for a love that is limitless
