When he turns to the culprit, he sees Hyouma glaring at them furiously, his cheeks tinged pink. “For the love of god, have some decency,” he huffs. “I’m studying.” Eita raises an eyebrow. “I can’t kiss my boyfriend in my own dorm?” “It’s our dorm! And I’m your boyfriend too!” “Hm…” Eita drops his hands to Tabito’s waist, hugging him. “Sounds to me like you’re jealous, Hyouma.”

tabeitagiri fantasy au. the assassin the ninja the princess… let’s discuss.

LETS FUCKING DISCUSS

the assassin hired to kill the princess vs the ninja who is secretly the princess’ bodyguard. lets cook

- karasu is hired to assassinate chigiri after the first attempt by his team was a failure. he does not know why or what chigiri even looks like, only that he has to do his job

- ever since the first attempt, otoya is hired to be chigiri’s bodyguard. except ninjas are supposed to work in secrecy and stay in the shadows, and if otoya were to protect chigiri, he’d have to be within his presence at all costs. and chigiri is always out in the open, which is Not Possible for a ninja

- the solution? otoya is chigiri’s fake fiancé

- chigiri is Suffering. otoya flirts with him 24/7 to ‘keep up their image’ and pretends to court him. theres a whole wedding being planned to really sell it

- even then, they’re both aware that this is purely for chigiri’s survival and both do not think that the flirting means anything (unless… /hj)

- come to wedding day. the day karasu chooses to strike

- it’s ridiculous to choose a day where almost the entire kingdom would be in attendance, but that’s exactly why he chose it—no one would suspect an assassin on such a big day

- karasu sneaks into the wedding, either as a fake guest or staff or whatever

- the wedding begins. he catches glimpses of both chigiri and otoya, immediately thinks: oh wow chigiri is gorgeous. oh WOW his husband is gorgeous

- okay whatever! he has a job to do!

- he sits through the ceremony, then comes the afterparty. it’s held in the castle’s ballroom

- everyone’s dancing, the ‘lovebirds’ are making their rounds chatting with important people. karasu gets swept up in the crowd and suddenly chigiri goes missing

- he spots chigiri leaving by his hair and is like ah fuck and chases after him. chigiri heads up to the tallest balcony, karasu follows

- it’s late at night, the moonlight bouncing off chigiri’s hair. his back is facing karasu and he doesn’t seem to have noticed him. karasu draws his blade

- before he can strike, chigiri turns around and smiles. immediately, there’s another knife under karasu’s chin and a tight grip on his wrists

- otoya: sorry i’m late, princess ^^

- chigiri: dispose of him. then kys too 😐

idk where this should go from here but shrugs. maybe karasu dies. maybe he bags two baddies instead. who knows
