Marital Trial (Pt 3)
Is letting someone follow their choices to conclusion cruel? Even if you're right next to them and already have an idea of how it'll end?
Since then, he quit that job and managed to get his salary job back. We don't have to worry about money anymore and he's already earning back the savings he lost doing this. (Did I mention that this was in the span of a week?).
He's quick to bounce back but whenever he DOES get low... it's actually worse than my depression. I would come home and he'll have not left the couch or bed for hours. One of those days, he wouldn't eat. And it was like that for a solid few days. In those days, I seriously questioned my abilities as a future wife... could I be there for him as well as he's been there for me? What does he need me to be in times like this? If I choose wrong, I'm scared he'll resent me for it. If I choose wrong, I'm scared that I'll be the obstacle after all. During all this, he even asked me a few times what I thought he should do and... I didn't know what to say. He needed an answer but it felt like a test I couldn't fail.
