I finished these two little pieces of scatter terrain this week for Age of Sigmar. It was a joy to paint some terrain again, it’s definitely one of my favourite things to paint (particularly fantasy themed terrain).

This little ruined Sigmarite Fountain and treasure chest were painted up to match my existing collection of AoS terrain, and I’m really pleased with how they turned out.

Eagle-eyed observers may notice the decorative piece is missing from the fountain bowl, I seem to have lost it while it was waiting to be painted in sub assemblies! 😅

The treasure inside the chest is such a cool little detail, and I enjoyed painting the tiny book with some freehand text included!

How to Build a DnD House for 3D Print – Part 7 | Brick Placement for Clean 3D Printing

In this part of the building quest, we place stone bricks with clean spacing so they print nicely and fit together like proper dwarven masonry. 🧱⚒️ Small heads-up: my cursor is a bit hard to see in this episode — I forgot to swap it before recording. The quest continues next time! 😅

PS: English isn’t my native language, but I see it as an adventure – just like DnD! I’ll get better over time, so you’re basically watching me ‘level up’ in real time.

Been workin’ on some modular “wall” Bookshelf designs for my D&D and Frostgrave games.

Work in progress: Sci-fi domiciles.

I had these wheels of a toy Tonka truck I got at the op shop. I thought I might be able to turn them into some small buildings, like little drop-pod / pop-up domiciles.

I based the wheels on CD's, and glued lids from Pringles cans on top. There was a gab around the base so I wrapped a strip of paper around the bottom to bring them flush to the table.

I brushed on a texture mix of PVA glue, baking soda, and mashed up air-dry-clay to firm up the paper and cover the roughed-up plastic on the raised parts of the wheels.

Next I'm going to add some doors and windows, and little details around the sides. I want to leave the tops flat so they can stack on top of each other. Then I'll prime and paint them.

I managed to pick up a great find on eBay this week, a model that I have wanted for a long time now but never got around to buying. The Purple Sun of Shyish, an Endless Spell that will be painted up to match in with my Nighthaunt army.

I’m pretty sure I’ll paint it in the classic purple colour scheme (I mean, it’s called the Purple Sun of Shyish after all), but a small part of me wants to paint it ghastly green to match the Balefire which is dotted throughout the Nighthaunt army….

Either way, I’m looking forward to getting it painted up!

After a week of steady painting, I’ve finished the lovely Realmscape Objectives set for AoS.

These are awesome little pieces, full of details and character. I painted them up to match the rest of my AoS terrain, so they should fit in nicely.

I’m particularly happy with how the large banner turned out, I painted it to match the colours of my Anvils of the Heldenhammer army.

More hobby this morning with the assembly and basing of some lovely Realmscape Objectives for Warhammer AoS. I sculpted some flagstones using green stuff and added them to the bases to tie in with my Nighthaunt and Stormcast armies. Really looking forward to painting these up, they will be done to match my existing AoS scenery.
