this song is literally constantly a jam for me i don’t know what it is but i love the video and i love dancing? i guess just jamming to it and on purim i just wanted to look like the girl on the cover of the “miss world” single this is all my fave things abt this genre of music tbh

me and diya listened to this song on pesach after we finished our seder and it is so beautiful i can weep it makes your heart literally soar (she sang this for eurovision and the video is so early 80s you should watch that, there’s another where she’s singing it for the idf which is less great but you should at least click on it to see the incredible paintsuit she’s wearing)

tell me about... a daniel you knew, emily and riley

ok so 

daniel: there is a danny in my drawing class semester. he seems pretty nice, can’t tell if he thinks i’m flirting or if he is. I asked him if I had a sweat stain on my back while i was wearing a shear shirt. 

emily: my art ta last year was named emily! she was great and was from the town next to my hometown! I miss her sometimes. she was really nice and gave me some good ideas.

riley: there was a riley in my photo class freshman year of highschool. I had a crush on him. he might have liked me back? maybe he just had study hall during my class and vice versa so we both just hung in the photo room. he still likes my stuff on facebook and instagram sometimes.

what's your favorite fruit? if you had to wear 1 thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? who was your hero when you were five years old? (For example mine was mia hamm)

my favorite fruit is probably cantaloupe or maybe pears or?? sometimes grapes

if i had to wear one thing for the rest of my life it would be the outfit u’ve seen me in a million times, my boots and jeans and my grey pullover sweater 

my hero when i was five years old was bspears - the hit me more one time video where she wore knee socks prompted me to unroll my socks to my knees for months at a time so i could look “like a big high school girl”

aries: what is your greatest ambition?

hmm i really want to become a manatee or a therapy dog. but i’m slowly accepting that that’s probably not going to happen, so i guess just… idk, just like, making enough money to be relatively comfortable at a job that doesn’t make me want to die/stress me out way too much. that’s probably not gonna happen either tbh but whatever. also to have a family, whether that’s like, a partner & children (and dogs!!!!) or friend-family or my relatives or whatever else but just, family & safety and have a house that makes me feel better inside it than i do outside, that i don’t feel trapped in

aquarius: what’s the most rebellious thing you’ve ever done?

honestly i am so boring… i can’t think of something??? there was that one time when i was like 4 and on the teacup ride at disney and i wanted to go into a different teacup because i liked that color more and so i went in a different one than my dad and brother were in and he got out of his to go get me back and they stopped the ride once he was out of his teacup because you’re not supposed to walk around once the ride started

capricorn: are you a good judge of character?

I like to think so but how do I know? I really do think I am though, at least in some ways? like I don’t trust super easily and I think I mostly see people for who they are? but not always idk

my greatest ambition: this is so terrible?? but honestly really to have a family and to be a good mother and also right now to get to the level of observance and profeciency/ability to participate w my judaism that i want to be at asap

am i a good judge of character: i think so, i actually pride myself on this! i am rarely wrong abt the vibes~ i initially pick up on in a person. maybe this is bad but my first impressions of someone are usually consistent with how i feel about them for the rest of our relationship - since "adulthood" at least"

most rebellious thing: well idk ig u could also call this stupid, but in my senior year of high school i started seeing a guy who was about four years older than me, who i knew primarily from online and i would go into the city (without my parents knowing) on some weekends to stay with him at a hotel

I'm definitely staying in Stamford for a few nights, probably through Wednesday, and my cousin goes to school in the city so if I wake up at an ungodly hour I can take the train in with her and hang out on Tuesday, probably... Monday I'd like to see my uncle before he goes back home to Israel.
