There’s no better feeling than knowing that I just married my best friend and I get to spend the rest of my life with him. Not to mention that the day was made even more special by the fact that we got married on our two year anniversary. I’m never coming down from cloud nine.
I cannot believe that I woke up this morning as a mom. I mean, I know this isn’t my first time experiencing this but somehow it still feels entirely different. I’m actually a mom. And a wife. I’m seriously in disbelief and filled with utter happiness.
The one thing about working on a project where most of your co-stars are older than you, and are of legal age, is that I end up spending a lot of downtime alone while they go out to drink or hangout at a bar or club or something. It’s not that I’m interested in doing that but them extending an invitation would be nice. But whatever. I’ve got pizza, Netflix and Noon so who’s really winning here?
I’m so happy to finally be back on tour. Performing night after night and being able to go to all these amazing places and meet my beautiful fans is a feeling that I’ve really missed.
I’ve been tired all day long so I, stupidly, decided to take a nap while I was waiting for my dinner to finish cooking. Bad. Idea. If it weren’t for my smoke alarm and dogs barking, I would’ve set my whole kitchen or possibly house on fire. This is why Ashley Victoria Benson shouldn’t be allowed into the kitchen... at least without a good night’s rest.
I’ve been back for two months now and I still feel so out of place. Outside of working, I have no idea what to do with myself or who to go out with. I’m officially at a temporary life standstill.
Normally I’d be bummed about not walking in two fashion week seasons back-to-back but I’m actually not bothered by it this time around. Maybe it’s because I have Jules and Jette to keep me busy or maybe it’s the shit ton of wedding planning I still have left to do that’s keeping me distracted but at this point, I think I’ll be a little disappointed when I have to get back to work.
I always forget how much better the cold weather back here in Michigan is than the heat of Los Angeles. This is how December is supposed to feel.
