There is a light knock on the door, Ria standing and watching her mother busy herself around the house, picking up this or that, straightening something else. Apparently they had a party the night before, guess it was a good thing that she spent the night at someone else's house.
Menphina was humming a tune as she picked up after their guests. Couches had shifted. A couple of cups had appeared here and there - when she had been sure that she had gotten rid of them when the last guests departed. Hearing a knock on the door, her ears straightened. Spinning around, the goddess’s face lit up and her smile widened. Fluffing one of the pillows, she sets it down on the couch. Striding toward the door, she pulled her daughter in for a hug. “My little one finally graces me with her appearance. I had been expecting you to join us last night.”
