Comedy is a tricky thing for me because I’m honestly not very into it, but it was clever enough, and Roman enough, that even I enjoyed it lol

tackylampshade replied to your post “OMFG I just got home and they lost my luggage!!! It might still be in...”
I've had luck everytime my luggage has been lost/not arrived on my plane. Usually they get send it to your door once it arrives.
Thanks, I feel a little better about it now!
tackylampshade replied to your post “Top Five unknown books!”
Oh man, I loved the Little House books! Did you read any of the continuation series? (I think they went back to her Great-Grandmother, and forward to her granddaughter)
I read most of the Rose series and parts of the Caroline series, but didn't really go beyond that.
From tackylampshade
I draw a steam punk ish alice in wonderland inspired story where the Queen of Hearts tears out the hearts of her people and replaces them wiith clocks that only she can wind to keep them alive.
For future reference, any of you that already have comics up can totally link to them in submissions. That said, where do you go with this premise? It's all consistently steampunk, but why did she do that, in the first place? If she tore out their hearts, why is she bothering to keep them alive? Lots of questions.
New Ladies of Science ART!
Here's the art for Myra Adele Logan (the 1st woman to perform heart surgery) and Irene Joliet-Curie (Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the discovery of artificial radioactivity), both by Whitney Brown.
Both of these amazing women are part of our Heroes & Inspirations line of art jewelry.
You can pledge for jewelry of these ladies (or any of the other 18 science ladies) via this link: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/576376494/heroes-and-inspirations-our-new-art-jewelry-line
Right now we're working towards the Women In History stretch goal. We would love to add 10 amazing historical badasses to the line, and you can help us get there.
What do these 3 portraits have in common?
As a pledge reward for the Heroes & Inspirations Kickstarter you can commission a portrait by one of these amazing artists!

The custom portrait & pendant combo means you get to have a special portrait commissioned (like the ones in our Kickstarter) and in addition to a print of the portrait we will make you a dog tag pendant.
Who can you have commissioned? Your best friend, your favorite anime character, yourself, Katee Sackoff as Captain Marvel, the choices are pretty open.
