These Mexican beef tacos are a delicious and satisfying meal option. The seasoned ground beef combined with fresh toppings and a squeeze of lime creates a burst of flavors in every bite.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 small onion, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 packet taco seasoning mix. 1/2 cup water. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 8 small flour tortillas. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1 cup diced tomatoes. 1/2 cup sour cream. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. 1 lime, cut into wedges.
Instructions: Warm up the ground beef in a big pan over medium-high heat until it turns brown. Get rid of extra fat. Cut up the onion and garlic and add them to the pan. Let it cook for a while until the onion gets soft. Add the water and taco seasoning mix and mix well. Let it cook on low heat for 5 minutes, or until it gets thicker. Follow the directions on the flour tortillas' package to warm them up in a separate skillet or the microwave. Put some beef mixture on each tortilla. Then add lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, cilantro, and shredded cheddar cheese on top of each tortilla. To make it taste even better, squeeze some fresh lime juice on top. Cut the tortillas in half and serve right away. Have fun with your homemade beef tacos!
